(August 19, 2024. Floor 71: Village Ruins)

(Martin's POV)

I rested against the wall of a destroyed building, sighing. Around a month since Anisa and I have parted ways again, and since my family betrayed me. I am now level 92. However, I'm still wearing the same clothing. 'What should I do? Should I try to find another guild? Should I stay alone and assault the Sunbreakers alone?' Many ideas and suggestions came to my head but I was unsure on all of them. 'Maybe...I should try to join the Knights of the Blood Oath on the 55th floor in Granzam..'

I began to stand, sighing. "Alright..time to join them. Maybe even Kirito is there." I muttered to myself, smirking. "I'd enjoy a duel with him.."

I gripped my chest, having a worried expression. 'My powers are too much...I'm scared that I'll scare off Anisa if I reveal them to her..' I'm really popular among other players. As usual, I was referred to as the Fireborn. People were scared of me..I was gazed at as if I was some sort of monster. 'One more field boss...then I'll join the Knights..' I thought to myself, leaving the Village Ruins but still unsure about joining.

(Floor 71: Mountain Path)

I walked along the mountain path, trying to reach the top. At the top, a flaming dragon named, <<Magnazorda, The Inferno Beast>> rests. The reason I'm after this specific field boss is because it offers a nice amount of exp, and drops a weapon that has a chance to ignite enemies for damage-over-time. Pretty overpowered weapon for a duel if you ask me.

The temperature began to change from a cool, warm weather to a hot weather. It progressively got hotter the higher I go up the mountain, since I'm practically climbing a fire mountain. I'm not too scared about the boss. I have my passive skill ready to use, which basically gives me a 2nd life.

The pathway began to go from a grassy terrain to a rocky and blazing terrain. The heat doesn't effect me much, but it is hotter than average weather. I couldn't stop thinking about the Sunbreakers and the time I spent with them.

The time I raided the Seraphim Vault with them and realized their strength...

The time I helped Claire and Colt defeat Kira and helped Colt gain confidence in himself..

The time I spent saving Claire and helping her move forward from her past...

I will make Darvanshel pay for raiding villages...even if it means taking them all on alone..

The past may be important, but there are people in the present who care about you...

Remembering that quote made my eyes widened and my breath heavy. I chuckled, having a smile. "That's what I told you wasn't it Claire..? Yet, I'm also worrying about what happened in the past...and I'm soloing bosses again without realizing who I'm putting in worry.." I talked to myself. From this one quote, I made up my mind about a decision.

I'm going to join the Knights of the Blood Oath after defeating Magnazorda. I'm going to be making sure that I'm not going to worry the people who care about me...Claire, Colt...Anisa..I realized how dangerous soloing activities can be..

(Location: Fire Mountain)

The pathway slowly wasn't very visible as there began to be lava flowing around the mountain. I looked up at the smoky sky and saw a large dragon flying around the top of the mountain. I knew who it was. It's the beast I'm after, Magnazorda. 'It's dangerous to fight Magnazorda on a slope like this..I need to find stable grounding' I thought to myself, progressing even higher up the mountain.
