Lucas with the help of Onna scared away the trainers. Now what was surrounded was visible... An eevee... Or so it seemed. It had the ear of a scorbunny and tail of a totodile and was snuggled up against the corpse of a gardevoir, shivering.
"Oh God!" Lucas exclaimed and ran over. He immediately crouched down to check if it was okay. The eevee looked at him with trepidation and fear.
"Hey buddy..." Lucas said to it in a low and calm voice. "I won't hurt ya... Are you okay?"
The eevee slowly walked over, tired and hungry. Lucas takes off his backpack and takes out some pokemon food and lays some on the ground for the eevee. The eevee slowly but surely began eating the food. Then it ate quicker and quicker until it couldn't hold itself back and was downing the food quickly.
"Don't eat to fast lil friend!" Lucas chuckled. Soon Schila found the two and walked over.
"So this is our little hybrid huh?" she says sweetly.
Lucas nods. "Yup! This is him." The eevee soon walked over and sniffs Lucas's hand before jumping up in Onna's arms, startling her but she accepts the affection either way.
Lucas stands up. "I'mma look around for any clues to what happened to the gardevoir. I'll be back."
Schila nods in acknowledgement.
After looking for a while Lucas found the corpse of a Feraligatr, it's head torn off. "Huh. I wonder..." Lucas crouches down to examine the carcass. "... Yup. Claw and scratch marks. Seems it was on the gardevoir and eevee's side. Maybe some people attacked them for having a hybrid in their possession seeing him as freak. Poor guy... I can relate." Lucas gets back and walks to the group.
Schila notices him." oh hey! Did you find anything?"
Lucas looks down on sadness... "... They were attacked... No survivors other than eevee there. And if we would have arrived later he would've died as well.."
Schila gasps! "oh no! Poor guy! All alone..."
Lucas nods but gets an idea and walks over to the eevee who was still being held by Onna. "Hey bud. What do you say to joining me and my friends to find all sorts of interesting pokemon?" he holds out a Cryptiball. A purple Pokeball made to capture Altered Pokemon specifically.
The eevee sniffs the Cryptiball... And happily places his paw on the ball! "eevee!" eevee gets sucked into the Cryptiball. 1. 2. 3. Click. Lucas caught eevee!
Lucas smiles. "Welcome to the team Max-Joseph..."
