Amber was a bright, humorous girls. And even though not many would admit it, she was the reason the group was here. It was a chain reaction , realistically. She brought a friend which brought another friend and so on. Amber was easy to love... but there was one person who couldn't like her, not a single bit - herself. There was always a thought in her mind... an atom in her skin that pointed out the worst in herself. No matter how hard she tried, she was blind. Blind to peoples true emotions. She felt guilty she couldn't do more, like without her giving more effort than her maximum, she was nothing. Every step she took, a whisper echoed in her brain. Taunting her, digging into her head. Amber knew deep down her friends cared for her, so why didn't she believe it? Her nails dug into her knees as she thought each night, curled up into a ball.Sunday 2:39AM
She sat up, a tired expression on her face. She took out her phone, sending her last message to the groupchat.
"This is my goodbye. I love you all."
She knew they would come for them, they would get there before she could end her pain. She climbed ontop of the roof, her knuckles scratching from the bricks. The sun was rising. She gazed toward it...
The sun stared back. It was like an infinite sky, full of emotions and memories. It was filled with scenarios, full of possibilities. Would this have happened if she picked the right one? Katie...Brooke...Sophie...Alex...Arri...Amber hoped Igor and Freddie would at least become acquaintances - maybe something more. Freddie got there first... that caring, sweet look in his eyes.
"Hold on!" He panted, catching his breath, "don't do it!"
Igor shouted at Freddie, fear in his eyes..."what are you doing!? You can catch her!"
But he froze. He couldn't do anything that his body wouldn't let him. Ambers time was over...her pain.
