It was dark and wet outside. Thunder crashed and banged in the stormy clouds as I tried to rest. I couldn't. It was too disturbing how gloomy my bedroom felt. It was unsettling, but in a way it was strangely...comforting. I don't know, but there was something calming about the way the sky lit my room...an orangey pinkish colour...but at the same time still sad and depressing. For what felt like the 100th attempt, I closed my eyes in hopes of falling into a peaceful dream. I failed miserably, although now...the sky had cleared up...and...the sun was shining through the small gaps of my curtains. This was weird, a second ago it was thundering and pouring down rain...Now it was beautiful and sunny outside.
