✧ john has a hidden comic book stash that he had collected over the years to supply his yearn for a childhood. majority of them are obviously of comics he is the main character in, but he denies how he loves to read (or really, just look at the pictures and drawings) of other supes like black noir or a-train. ⋆ he did have a collection of soldier boy comics he had read when he was young, but he had hidden away and nearly destroyed half of the collection after his interactions with his dad.
✧ john doesn't have a sense of fashion or any kind of clothing in his closets other than his super suit. when he needs to dress in something other than his super suit, he literally just steals random pieces of clothing from the nearest clothing store or takes from other supes in the seven.
✧ john denies the fact he is a nerd for american history since i believe he'd think nerds are even less than the bottom of the barrel. he can state any fact about the countries history with not an incorrect statement.
✧ john has D.I.D (dissasociative identity disorder). this may have been implied canon after those few mirror scenes you see throughout the show. he has two distinct alters: ⋆ John: the man who craves attention and the need for love. ⋆ Homelander: will cut that part out of him like a cancer.
✧ very much a severe insomniac, he rarely sleeps, and if he tries, he won't be able to close his eyes for hours upon hours. he'd need that bit of comfort like sucking on his thumb or being read a bedtime story by someone who wouldn't shame him for it. ⋆ he sleeps with those lamps that make star shapes and stuff when the lights are off.
✧ messages very dryly when using a phone. he really only messages ryan about his whereabouts and barely bothers to message other supes or those who work at vought. he'd rather meet face to face or not interact at all. ⋆ ryan downloaded snapchat on his phone to take silly pictures together, and now he always does it. ⋆ his phone gallery is only pictures of himself, thousands of images of him.

✧ despite his intimidating personality and superiority complex, he's actually super socially awkward and doesn't understand social cues, his childhood(if you could even call it one) being a major reason for it.
