✦ ben adores listening to music from artists like the rolling stones, the beatles, the beach boys, elvis presley, ccr, and many more bands and artists from the 1950-1980s
⋆ he never fully adapted to the music that is played in the modern day, and i dont think he ever will. he'd turn a car radio off in a second.
⋆ never admitted that he was obsessed with blondie after singing rapture on solid gold.

✦ tried to learn playing the piano to please his father but failed misserably, which resulted in mass verbal abuse. at his time in the military, some friends he made there taught him how to play the guitar.

✦ ben loves watching movies, especially those vintage ones from the 20s, 30s, and 40s. after realizing how advanced movies are made today, he had challenged himself to watch a bunch to see how different they are from before 84'.
⋆ watches his movies over and over again, and will invite other people to watch with him, including you.

✦ do you think being tortured for 40 years humbled him? nah, it only fueled him with more rage and a need for revenge. its really all he ever thought about. he has also developed insane trust issues after being betrayed twice, unwanting to be with another person, and would rather stay independent

✦ along with his ptsd, ben had developed schizophrenia after abusing hallucinogenic drugs and drugs in general for a prolonged period.

✦ used to own a vintage car collection he valued dearly, which was scrapped or sold by vought after his supposed "death."
