Chapter 5

"My names Issei Hyoudou. Once in my life I was normal. I stuck to myself and everyone stayed away from me. I know now it's because of who I have become. The key to freeing the God of the Void, Knull. A powerful war god who was betrayed by the other gods of the supernatural. Yes the supernatural is real and my classmates are devils. A girl tried to kill me and he saved me. Gave me a new reason to live. I will learn to master my powers and protect the people I love. I sense a darker future ahead for me. I will be ready though, with Knull's power I will rise above all the gods and give him the revenge he deserves." Issei told himself as he was doing pull-ups on a tree in the sun sweating. Issei has spent the last couple of hours training his body to be able to take in more of Knull's power. "257,257,258,259,260." Issei dropped down breathing kinds heavy as he walked over and wiped his face and body. "Now that is done, let's get more intense." Issei summoned his Symbiote as it formed into a sword as he dashed forward cutting down some trees as he made a shield as to block a attack as he jumped up kicking the tree braking it as he jumped back and extended it from his hand and crushed another tree. "Damn these powers are actually really cool. Gotta make sure I am careful with my parents." Issei walked over and sat down on a rock drinking his water. "I better get back home." Issei got up and ran and saw the school and smirked. Picking up speed he jumped onto the roof then over the main town area and landed at his door.

"Issei dear your home. How was your run you look sweaty?" Issei's mother asked as her son walked into the house.

"It was really good, I feel more healthy and stronger then ever. I guess working out with body weight is really good." Issei told his mother as he went into the kitchen and got some food.

"I made some lunch your father is at work and I also have to go in today. We won't be back till later in the evening." Issei's mom told her son as she got her bag. "I love you be safe." Issei's mom kissed his cheek and walked out and went to her car and drove off.

"Better go upstairs and get cleaned up." Issei walked upstairs and got undressed and went into the shower. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh." Issei let the water wash over his body as he closed his eyes.

"Your training is going well Issei, keep this up and slowly you will take in more of my power." Knull spoke to Issei who looked up and saw his reflection.

"Should I trust the others?" Issei asked the God who thought in his prison.

"That is for you to choose, I trust no one but your life is d-." Knull told his host as Issei lost his connection.

"Dammit." Issei hit his fist into the wall as he sighed. "I need to get stronger so we can speak more." Issei got his body wash and cleaned his body then his hair. Getting out Issei put a new set of clothes on. "I should go out. Enjoy the evening." Issei went downstairs and left.

Down town

Issei walked through the town. He got some food and enjoyed the arcade and mall. "I am happy I can have a somewhat normal life." Issei said to himself as he continued to walk until he ran into someone.

"Ouch." Issei looked down and saw a girl in a nun outfit with blond hair and green eyes. "Oh my I am sorry sir I am so clumsy." The girls said to Issei.

"Here let me help you." Issei told the girl offering his hand as she took it and got to her feet. "Are you hurt?" Issei asked the girl.

"No, I am not thank you sir." The girl told Issei who sensed a power in her but didn't know what it was. "My names Asia." Asia introduced herself.

"Issei, where are you heading Asia?" Issei asked the girl who pointed to the old church.

"I am going to the church." Asia told Issei who cocked an eyebrow.

"The old and broken one?" Asia nodded in response to his question. "Why don't I walk you there. Make sure you get there safe." Issei told Asia who smiled.

"Thank you Issei I appreciate your help." Asia told the teen as the two walked down the street.

"What brings you to this part of town?" Issei asked the girl curious.

"I am a nun, and I am meeting some people there for personal reasons." Asia told Issei who was now more interested.

"Interesting, a nun none the less." Issei told himself as they walked past the park and saw a boy crying holding his knee. "Kid must have burned his knee." Issei watched Asia walk over to the boy.

"It's ok, your knee hurt?" Asia asked and he nodded. "Here let me help you." Asia said as she brought her hands up and two rings on her middle finger glowed green as the wound was healed.

"This must be the power I sense. She can heal wounds." The boy smiled as he got up and hugged Asia.

"Thank you." The boy ran off to the group of kids.

"You can heal wounds?" Issei asked Asia who nodded.

"It was what I take as a gift from god to bless me with the power to heal others." Asia told the teen as they continued to walk.

"You hungry?" Issei asked Asia.

"Oh no it's ok I-." Asia stoped when her stomach growled as she blushed in embarrassment.

"Let's get you some food." Issei and her walked to a nearby food court. "Can I get 2 burgers please, no pickles?" Issei asked the man who nodded as he handed him some money.

"I have never had a burger." Issei looked down at her like she was crazy.

"Really? This shit is awesome you're gonna love it." Issei told her as the man gave them the food. "Come on let's go eat." Issei and Asia sat down as she opened the cover and looked at it then Issei. "It won't attack you." Asia giggled at the comment as she took a bite and her face lit up.

"Oh my this is really good wow." Issei laughed at her reaction as she quickly ate the entire thing.

"Wow, slow down there. Don't want you to choke." Issei told her as she wiped her mouth as he ate his food after her. "Come on let's get going." Issei told her as she and him got up and continued their walk.

"You have been really sweet to me Issei, I appreciate it." Asia said to Issei who smiled.

"I try to be kind to others. Help out the little ones when they need it." Issei told her as they walked past the park and to the old church.

"You must be a great older brother if you have a sister." The comment made Issei stop.

"If only I got the chance Asia, if only I got the chance." Issei told himself as he caught up to her.

"Well Issei, this is it. hopefully we can meet again in the future." Asia said happy as he smiled at her and ruffled her hair.

"You know it." Issei said as he put his hand behind his back and made a necklace out of his symbiote. "Here take this, I want you to have it." Issei told Asia as he knelt down and put it on her.

"It's beautiful." Asia said as she smiled and turned around and walked up as Issei went to get up but she quickly ran back and hugged Issei much to his shock. "Thank you, for everything." Asia said as she walked into the church. Issei stayed on one knee stunned by her hugging him. 

"She wasn't affected by my aura, she truly is a sweet girl." Issei said as he remembered his past. "God please watch out for her and keep her safe. I will also do the same." Issei got up and walked away and back home. "And have mercy...on anyone who tries to hurt her." Issei said as his eyes flashed a dark red.
