Nico pinned the empousa to the wall, holding his sword to her neck.

"Where the fuck is he?" He snapped, digging the sword ever so slightly into her skin. She grimaced.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She smiled.

Nico groaned, pushing harder and lopping her head off. She disintegrated into dust, leaving only her metal leg behind. He kicked it to the side, turning to the last Empousa which he'd had Bia hold in her mouth(full grown) until her was ready for her. He stepped over the ten or twenty legs, walking over to her. He sighed.

"Truthfully, this is your last chance. I'm getting pissed at all you monsters lying to me."

Bia dropped her, the Empousa immediately straighened, looking a bit annoyed.

"But we're not lying," She smirked, "I personally have no idea where a Will is."

Nico glared at her, he didn't like how she said Will. It was just like how all the monsters before had said it. He'd been starting to get a suspicion, but he'd gotten to irritated with the others before he could dig deeper, just killing them.

"Swear it on the river styx," He signaled to Bia, who started to growl slightly, "Swear on the river styx you don't know where my boyfriend is."

She smiled, "I have no idea where Will is."

"No!" He was starting to get angry, "Swear on the river styx you have no idea where William Andrew Solace, my boyfriend, is!"

Her eyes widened slightly, she glanced around as if looking for an escape. Nico had finally gotten past their little tricks.

But the empouse just shook her head, "Kill me. I'll come back, eventually. You won't. Especially once our mistress finally gets to you. You'll be done for."

Nico cut her laughter off by doing just that, cutting her off. She dissolved into dust and Nico sighed, walking back over to Bia.

"Let's go find the next batch Bia," He muttered, rubbing her neck and climbing onto her back. She jumped into the shadows, dragging them through them.

Once Nico felt the light again he looked up, expecting to be surrounded by monsters again. He wasn't disappointed.

They were in the middle of a cyclops camp. Nico immediately jumped off the skeletal cat and pulled out his sword.

He had to kill around half the monsters before he was finally able to incapacitated one. After that it got easy, cutting off their legs, slashing at their ankles. Bia helped with the especially big ones.

Once they were all down Nico went through them one by one. This group genuinely didn't seem to know what he was talking about, Hecate must not have gotten to them yet. Nico still sent them back to Tartarus, just in case.

Him and Bia had been doing that exact thing for weeks now, they'd yet to get much information on Will's whereabouts. Nico was starting to get impatient.

He clung to Bia's fur as she shadow traveled them yet again. But instead of coming to a troup of monsters Nico felt the familiar feeling of being dragged off course. By none other than his father.

He hadn't seen his father since Lou had told him about the god talking to Will. He'd tried to get in contact, tried to find some information about Will. But he could never find the god.

Or, at least until he needed him.

Bia pulled them out of the shadows into Hades throne room. Before Nico could get as much as a warning he was dumped off the big cats back, he looked up and saw that she was kneeling. How does a cat kneel? He didn't know, but he was wise enough to follow her lead.

"Father," He couldn't help but look up at the god, who was sitting on his throne eating a pomegranate, "Why have you pulled me from my search?"

Hades smiled at him coldly, Nico had a feeling he wasn't going to like this encounter, "To help you of course son."

Great, he was in his 'I'm an amazing father' mood. Might as well take it to his advantage.

"Father. If you do want to help me could you tell me what you spoke of with Will? Or where he is? Or anything about his situation!"

Hades just smirked, "I was just confirming his thoughts son. Though that would do little for him now." He frowned slightly.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Hades seemed to consider his question for a moment, then leaned forward and smiled.

"Not important right now. I did warn you didn't I? If you went back up to the surface you'd only face pain and suffering. I tried to help you, I really did. But you've always been stubborn."

Nico didn't respond, just glaring at the gods feet.

"Anyway," Hades flicked his fingers and Nico was forced to look up at him, "I'm giving you one last chance. I did say I wanted you to be happy. Going back up there, continuing to pursue this little boy toy of yours. It will only bring you grief."

Nico glared at him, "I love him. He's not a boy toy, he's my boyfriend."

Hades shrugged, "That's what they all say. I'm just trying to make sure that you're ready for what's to come, because being on the opposing side of one that you love won't be easy."

Nico didn't respond, just glaring at him. He leaned back, sighing.

"Okay son, but I do have a warning from you, though I guess I've been warning you this entire time."

He flicked his fingers again and Nico was dragged across the floor to his feet.

"You're going to face him. I've discussed with the Fates your destiny. You'll see him during the final battle against Hecate. You'll be forced to fight him. But after that, it's your decision what happens. You've said you don't want the Fates messing with your life, but it's your decision this time. Your life is only in your hands."

And he flicked his hand one last time, rocketing Nico back into Bia and pulling them into the shadows.
