Secondly, it's Chinese New Year! It's the biggest event of the year for Chinese people. And it's my favorite celebration ever!
This chapter really made me put my thinking cap on. I mean, how do I get the Mane 7 to get in touch with Chinese culture?
But for the sake of this book, I dug my brain out and searched through the layers of tissues for a very hidden idea.

Anyway, let's go on to the STORY!

Leonora's POV:
I was minding my own pretty little business when I spotted a red and gold envelope slipping in underneath the door.
Being the good little girl I was, of course I didn't bring it to Mummy. Instead, curious little me rip the letter right where I found it! Hehehe!!!
It was a deep red card with golden accents framing the words. Being the absolute smartest girl in my class, I managed to read what it said without anyone's help! Aren't I the cleverest?
As I read the words on the beautiful card, I could feel my eyes widen. "Mommy!" I screamed, running into her room where she was helping Eleanore braid her hair. "Aunty Sophia invited us to her Chinese New Year celebration party!"
"Calm down," Mommy said, clipping a beautiful purple hairclip onto my sister's hair before turning towards me and plucking the card from my hands.
Suddenly, my dad walked into the room. "What's going on?" Daddy said, kissing Eleanore on her forehead and kissing Mommy on her cheek before turning to me. "I heard you screaming!"
"We've been invited to Aunty Sophia's Chinese New Year celebration party!" I squealed.
Flash's POV:
"Woah!" I said. "That's some news!" I've never been to a Chinese New Year party before.
"Hold on, Leonora," Twilight said, turning to our eldest daughter.
"First of all," she said. "You shouldn't have opened this letter without my permission," she scolded.
"Sorry, Mommy," she said, biting her lip. "But I was just too excited!"
"Come on, love," I said. "Don't be too harsh on her. She's just a kid," I said.
Twilight sighed. "Sorry, sweetheart," she said, picking Leonora up, who looked close to tears. "Don't cry now," she said softly, helping Leonora wipe her tears.
"Aww, come on, baby," I said, letting her crawl from Twilight's arms into mine. Twilight also picked Eleanore up and we brought them to the living space.
Soon, everyone got comfortable and snuggled up together. "Okay, let's take a closer look at this invitation," Twilight said.
"Looks like we need some outfits," she said, scanning the card. Before she could continue, her phone rang.
"It's Rarity," Twilight said, putting it on speakerphone. "TWILIGHT!" Rairy shrieked through the speaker. "WERE YOU INVITED?!?!"
"To Sophia's party?" Twilight asked. "Yeah, my entire family was invited,"
