BE MY LOVE

Chapter 1

CASSANDRA'S POV

Mrs Loretta!, I yell and push her to the back of the chair making the bullet to miss her.

She wanted to scream so I cover her mouth with my hand.   

We suddenly hear groaning.  

I get up and see Miguel strangling the mysterious man. 

Miguel!. No. Don't kill him, I yell and rush towards him.  

I pull him away from the stranger. 

Don't kill him. 

He nods breathing heavily. 

Oh Miguel, I say and hug him tightly closing my eyes.  

As I open my eye.  

I spot the stranger running towards us with a knife. 

Miguel!, I yell and push Miguel behind me. 

The stranger wanted to stab me but I hold his hand.  

He tried to punch me but I hold his other hand tightly. 

Then I kick him where the sun don't shine.  

I Punch him hard on the face.  

He falls and looses consciousness.  

Ouch, it hurts, I mumble holding my hand in pain.   

Mum are you alright?, I hear Miguel say to Mrs Loretta.  

Yes I am, she replies.   

Mrs Loretta, Miguel. 

We need to get out of here. 

Am sure the person trying to kill me knows we are here and sent this man to kill us, I say pointing to the man.    

Ok let's get outta here, Miguel Says.  

He helps his mother up and then we all make it out of the house and into Miguel's car.  

Where are we gonna go to?, Miguel ask me. 

To a hotel, I say. 

Ok, he says and starts driving the car to the hotel.

I wake up to not seeing Miguel beside me.  

I go to the bathroom, remove my clothes and prepare the water I will be using to take my bath.

I enter into the tub and relax into the water.  

After three minutes of being in the tub.

  I decide to get up but Miguel enters into the bathroom.  

Hi beautiful, he says smiling.  

Good morning handsome, I say smiling as well.  

Come join me, I say to him.  

Sure, he says and begins to remove his clothes.  

After removing his clothes. 

He walks towards me and joins me in the tub. 

I relax my back on his chest.  

I breath in and out heavily.  

I bite my lower lip and begin to trace my hand on his lap.   

Miguel am scared

Why?, he ask.  

Am scared for us Miguel.   Am scared that my dad will find us again.

  He won't. We will have to always be on a low profile. 

We have to always be careful with what we do, where we go and who we meet and trust, ok?, he says. 

Yeah ok. I feel a little relieved.  You make me feel better Miguel.  I love you.  

And I love you too beautiful, he says.

He turns my face to face him and then he crashes his lip on mine. 

We kiss for minutes until I pull out from the kiss. 

How is your mum?, I ask. 

She is not hurt but in great shock, he says.  

I understand. Am sorry Miguel.  Am sorry for putting you two in danger. 

If we didn't meet at that party and if we didn't fall in love. 

None of this will be happening to you and your mother. 

I would have been the only one to bear all these problems we are having.
