Lost in Shadows: The Girl Who Yearned for Belonging

She woke up with a jerk covered in sweats Another nightmare. Wearing her glasses she remembered now she will be free living a life for others. Now she will live for herself and only herself. She will cook what she wants. She will live how she wants finally

She got freshen up and was brushing her teeths when she remembered she haven't packed yet. After brushing her teeths in hurry. She started packing her stuffs. She didn't had much dresses some of dresses she buy with her savings and some are of sania. she only have 2 pairs of footwear one she has is shoes and one is slippers. After packing she sighed of relief

Looking around the room which was now half empty she looked at her two suitcases one had her dresses and one had her books and others useful stuffs

She got ready wearing a simple white suit with dark pink dupatta she wore jhumka and bangles. She loves these things and always buy when she has extra money she doesn't have makeup products she thinks it's a waste of money or she say this to control herself for buying these expensive things she only use vaseline for her lips. looking herself in the small mirror she smiled. Keeping the remaining stuff in her purse. Wearing her shoes she got fully ready

Taking her phone she looked at time which was 6 : 15 looking forward she called ayaan who picked up in one ring

"Wahh aj toh kisi ne pehle ring pe hi phone utha liya" she said more like taunting him

(Wahh today someone picked up the phone on the first ring)

"Haan haan kyunki kisiko toh yaad hi nahi tha ke hum mein waha jake pehle apartment bhi toh chahiye" he replied with the small tone

("Yes yes because no one remembered that we should rent an apartment before going there)

"Aree yarr sorry main toh packing karna bhi bhul gyi thi kal raat kuch hua isliye abhi ki hai packing thanks to my nightmare jisne mujhe jaldi utha diya" she said keeping her hand on her head

(Hey sorry, I had even forgotten to pack. Something happened last night, that's why i have done my packing now. Thanks to my nightmare which woke me up early.)

"Kya hua? Jaldi bata yar" he asked being worried

(what happened? tell me quickly)

"Are batati hu na tu bata dhundh liya apartment?" She said not wanting to be sad

(I will tell you later, you tell me have you found an apartment?)

"Haan woh mere ek cousin hai yaha pe woh office ke pass hi koi apartment dhundh ke bata denge" he explained

(Yes a cousin on mine lives there I have told him to find apartment near the office)

"Okay no problem hotel me rehke paise waste karne se acha hai jo mil raha ussi me rehle" she said and he hummed

(Okay no problem, it is better to live in whatever you get instead of wasting money by staying in a hotel)

"Thik hai chal milte hai phir mein breakfast bana lu ek last time yahan allah hafiz" she said and he chuckled hearing her

(It's okay, let's meet, let me make breakfast one last time here, Allah Hafiz)

"Okay allah hafiz" he said and she cut the call going downstairs to the kitchen

"Assalamualaikum" she greeted everyone who didn't pay much attention to her she kept all the things she made on the breakfast table

"I made everyone's favourite for breakfast last time before going come eat" she said with a smile
