Lost in Shadows: The Girl Who Yearned for Belonging

Waking up by her nightmare she looked here and there but what she saw was a blurred room. Wearing her glasses she remembered now it's new phase of her life now she have to work hard for her. She did her morning offered her prayer and got ready in a simple yellow suit which she brought in last year's eid.

She wore her new pair of jhumka which ayaan gifted her wearing her regular bangles. She smiled looking at herself which she always did. She never got someone to praise her so she did it herself she doesn't really need anyone to praise her but a family to care for her. Welcome her lovingly when she came back from work. Brothers to protect her from the evil world. Sister to share her feelings her problems with her. Parents to be proud of her achivements but she couldn't have any breaking her thoughts of chain.

Putting dupatta on her head She made her way out only to find his bestfriend in the kitchen making breakfast.

"Ya allah someone is making breakfast early in the morning" she said sitting on the counter chair gaining his attention who was focused in his Toast

"Ofc for my chashmish you have been making breakfast since the last 15 years so I can do this atleast once" he said keeping the toast and coffee infront of her on the counter who smiled

"Finally you got some brains" she said giggling and ayaan shook his head eating his breakfast

"We have to reach office by 8 : 30 am because we have to  set our things as well as understand our works" ayaan said shipping his coffee

"Okay it's almost 8 am now we have time" she said and he nodded they finished their breakfast while zara kept smiling between the breakfast and ayaan notices her washing the dishes they bid goodbye to alfisha who gave them spare keys of the apartment

Azlaan wake up with a jerk he couldn't believe what he saw in his dream the voice of bangles jhumkas but still couldn't see his dream girl's face

He shook his thoughts and did his morning routine offer his prayer. Did his excercise and got ready in his formals looking handsome as always. He went towards the dinning table only to find his little sister ordering the servants and passed him a smile when she noticed him

"Kya baat hai aj Dr Sara ke haath ka breakfast" he said teasing his little sister who just nodded

(What's the matter today's breakfast made by Dr Sara)

"When are ammi papa coming back?" he asked eating his breakfast

"I guess they will come somedays before wedding they will be doing their shopping there" Sara said a little sadly sitting beside him serving herself breakfast

"They should atleast now spend some time with you you're going to be married" he said in little anger

"It's okay Bhai it's not new they always did this no matter if it's our first day of school our results our college's first day or our any achievements they didn't even came when I got the best doctor award" she said chuckling sadly while azlaan got up and  caressing his hairs

"Don't worry my doll your brother is all yours we will do our shopping together and spends some precious time together whenever you want" he said and kissed her forehead while she smiled and hugged him after standing hiding her crying face in his chest while he cupped her face and she looked at him with teary eyes
