"
In this school, there are only two people selling the stuff." She whispered drawing closer to me. We were still in the rest area.
"Two?"
"Yeah."
"But I thought tiger was the only one running this place."
"Well you thought wrong, so keep quiet let me explain better." She shut me off with a glare, I shrugged giving her a go ahead.
"Okay, as I was saying, there are two people, me and a scholarship student from class F. According to what I heard, there Is another don In the biz challenging Tiger and she works for him. And for some reason, she always getting more sales and from what I heard, she always have new products for more expensive prices." She paused looking over at the balcony not too far from where we sat.
"That's her." She gestured at a light skinned girl standing close to a black boy and before I knew it, she shook hands with him exchanging a book with a little paper under it, it was so swift that it would go unnoticed by anyone but definitely not me, I've been in the biz for four years now so I knew this stuff.
"Did she just–"
"Yep." Onome answered not even waiting for me to finish." That's how she rolls."
Immediately,I swatted my head at her in annoyance." What about you, how many have you sold this today." I queried.
"You want the truth or the fake ass truth" she gave me a meek look all of a sudden.
"Babe does my face look like that of one that want the fake ass truth?" I stared daggers at her.
"No"
"Good, now gist me."I ordered and she exhaled loudly.
"None." She said.
"None?"
"None." She held both of her hands in a cross.
"Why?"
"Well apparently, they all want to buy from Gloria. I'm even losing my vips here." She explained putting both her hands under her chest.
"You're serious?" I asked not exactly look for an answer." So what have you done about it? You sha know you have to pay Tiger by the end of this month." I reminded her.
Knowing Tiger, he wasn't going to listen to any excuses, when you fucked up, you get fucked up. That was his rule and this girl was just behaving like small pikin here.
"I know," she tapped her foot on the floor.
I dropped my hands on her shoulders, she looked up with a surprised face." Well you're in luck. You have the best sales rep on your turf." I smiled bringing out my phone.
I tapped on it, opening an app called IFCHAT. Carefully I passed my phone to her after tapping on It." Ever heard of it?"
She stared at the screen for a while before shaking her head.
"Well no surprise there, it's a new app and it isn't that popular.and do you know the best part of it? It deletes your messages after 30 minutes and it cannot be tracked or traced by anyone if there is an investigation." I paused as she looked at me with questioning eyes, I nodded giving her a go ahead to ask.
