Jin was the first one to check up on V, as he always saw the toys Jeon bought at home lay lifeless for days after their first encounter. But to Jin's surprise, V was walking through the balcony, looking at the guards practicing martial arts.
"Can I go there and practice something?" V asked.
"I don't think that is a good idea, V." Jin said with a tender smile but seeing V already made his way out, he yelled, "At least change your pyjamas; Jeon is going to kill you."Early morning sunlight filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow over the house as V padded down the hallway in his loose, striped pajamas—a soft, oversized shirt and pants that hung comfortably on his lean frame.
His hair was tousled from sleep, and his face bore the relaxed look of someone who had been dragged out of bed far too early. Beside him, Jin led the way to the backyard, chuckling at the younger man's sleepy state.
"Are you sure you're awake enough to come out here?" Jin teased as they reached the patio door.
V rolled his eyes, a grin playing on his lips. "Awake enough to show those guys a thing or two."
The backyard was alive with energy, filled with guards sparring and practising their morning martial arts routines. As they noticed V and Jin approaching, a few of the guards nudged each other, casting amused glances at V's cozy attire.
One of the guards smirked, raising an eyebrow. "Look who decided to join the fun- THE NEW TOY. Didn't think you'd come out here in your bedtime outfit, boy."
Another snickered. "Yeah, are you sure you're not here for a nap instead of a fight?"
V's gaze sharpened, the corners of his mouth curling into a challenging smile. "If you think pyjamas make me any less capable, why don't you step up and test it out?"
Jin put a hand on his shoulder, sighing. "V, don't take the bait. They're just joking."
But V shrugged off Jin's hand, his eyes glinting with a playful fire. "Joking or not, they're about to learn not to mess with me."
The guards laughed, but one of them stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. "Alright, let's see what you've got, sleeping beauty."
With a nod, V dropped into a fighting stance, his focus suddenly razor-sharp. In a flash, he moved, weaving around the guards with an effortless grace that left them scrambling to keep up. One by one, he took them down—quick strikes and deft movements putting them on the ground before they could even react.
Jin watched, eyes wide in awe, as V dismantled each of the guards with precision and skill, not a single wasted movement in his graceful attacks. When the last guard went down, panting on the ground, V stepped back, barely breaking a sweat, his playful grin firmly in place.
Jin shook his head in admiration. "Well, I can't say I didn't warn them."
V smirked, glancing down at the fallen guards. "Next time, remember that I'm more than just a 'toy' for Jeon. Maybe then you'll think twice before underestimating me."
From his office window above, Jeon had watched the entire scene unfold, his lips quirking into a proud smile. He was impressed—not just by V's skill but by the sheer energy he still had, even after the gruelling work they'd done together last night. It was clear V's stamina was formidable, and Jeon mentally noted to add some enhancements to his diet to support that strength.
As V stood amidst the guards, basking in his victory, he looked up and caught a glimpse of Jeon watching from the window. He held Jeon's gaze, a silent, triumphant exchange passing between them, filled with pride and something deeper.
