Ash and Serena settled into their seats, the hum of the airplane filling the cabin as they soared through the clouds on their way to the Paldea Region. Ash glanced out the window, watching the vast expanse of blue sky, his excitement bubbling over at the thought of what lay ahead.
Next to them sat Delia, her eyes warm with pride as she looked over at her son. "I can't believe you're already heading to another new region, Ash," she said with a smile. "It feels like just yesterday you were setting off on your very first journey."
Ash grinned back at her, scratching the back of his head. "Yeah, it's kind of crazy. But I'm glad you're here with us, Mom."
Professor Oak sat on the other side of Delia, deep in thought as he reviewed his notes. "Paldea is known for its rich culture and unique Pokémon. I'm eager to see what discoveries you two will make there," he said, giving Ash and Serena a knowing smile.
Serena leaned over, looking at Ash. "I wonder what kinds of Pokémon we'll see. It's exciting to think about all the new experiences waiting for us."
Ash nodded, his eyes gleaming. "Yeah! And with Naranja Academy, I bet we'll learn things we never even thought about."
As the plane continued on, the four of them shared in the excitement of a new adventure, each lost in thoughts of the incredible journey awaiting them in Paldea.
As they stepped off the plane and entered the bustling airport of Paldea, Ash, Serena, Delia, and Professor Oak were greeted by a familiar face waiting for them. Director Clavell, looking distinguished in his tailored suit, offered them a warm smile.
"Welcome to the Paldea Region," he greeted, extending a hand. Ash and Serena returned the gesture, each smiling with excitement.
"Thank you for inviting us, Director Clavell," Delia said with a polite nod. "It's an honor to be here."
"Of course, Mrs. Ketchum," Clavell replied. "It's a pleasure to have you all. We're thrilled to show you what our region has to offer."
As they stepped outside, Ash's eyes widened with awe as he took in the lively scene. Above them, flocks of Squawkabilly in vibrant colors flew past, their feathers a mix of green, blue, yellow, and white. Near the shore, Finizen leaped gracefully from the water, their sleek, dolphin-like bodies glistening in the sun. On the streets, people rode on Cyclizar, the lizard-like Pokémon expertly maneuvering through the crowd as they carried passengers with ease.
"Whoa, look at all these Pokémon!" Ash exclaimed, his eyes darting around as he tried to take in everything at once.
Professor Oak chuckled, a twinkle in his eye. "Indeed, Ash. There are countless species here that you've never encountered before. This region is rich with discoveries for you."
Ash grinned, his excitement renewed as he looked around, eager to meet each new Pokémon Paldea had to offer.
Just a few steps behind Ash and his group, Team Rocket lurked in disguise, dressed as curious tourists with wide-brimmed hats and sunglasses. Jessie adjusted her hat, whispering, "I don't know what the twerps are doing here, but this region is crawling with new Pokémon!"
James nodded, smirking. "Think of all the rare Pokémon we could snatch up and bring back to the boss!"
Meowth snickered. "We'll be rollin' in promotions!"
Just then, Wobbuffet popped up, striking his familiar salute. "Wobbuffet!"
"Shh!" they all hissed, shoving him back down as they continued to eavesdrop, plotting their next move.
As they finally arrived in Mesagoza, Ash and Serena's eyes widened in awe at the vibrant surroundings. The city was bustling with life, filled with intricate architecture, colorful shops, and lively plazas. But what stood out the most was the towering, magnificent building at the heart of the city—a grand school with impressive spires and large arched windows.

Ash Ketchum: Journeys
FanfictionMy take on the Pokemon Journeys version, it might be similar to Pokemon Journeys anime, but with different stuff, no Goh, no Chloe, no Professor Cerise, but with Gyms, with school, with time travel.
