Ash and Serena stepped off the boat, feeling the fresh breeze of Unova. They'd come here after receiving a call from an old friend, Ridley, who had exciting news to share.

"Thanks for coming all this way, Ash," Ridley greeted them with a smile as they met up. "Meloetta's been asking about you. She really wants to see you both."

Ash's eyes lit up with excitement. "I can't wait to see Meloetta again! It's been a while since we last met."

Serena tilted her head, intrigued. "Meloetta... isn't that a Mythical Pokémon?" She'd heard stories of Meloetta's enchanting songs and rare appearances, but never dreamed she'd actually get to meet one.

Ridley nodded. "Yes, she's unique and a bit shy, but she remembers you well, Ash. She's been singing more than ever lately—maybe she's been looking forward to your visit."

With a shared smile, they all set off to reunite with Meloetta, eager to see what melodies awaited them in Unova.

With some time to spare before meeting Meloetta, Ash decided to pay a visit to the Aspertia Gym. Memories of his last battle here came rushing back—his tough loss to Cheren still fresh in his mind. This time, though, he was determined to win.

Inside the gym, Cheren greeted Ash warmly. "Back for a rematch? I've been looking forward to this."

Ash grinned. "I've trained hard since last time, and I'm ready to give it my all!"

The battle was set: Cheren called out his trusty Stoutland, while Ash sent Unfezant soaring onto the field. The two Pokémon clashed fiercely—Stoutland's strength met with Unfezant's speed and agility. Ash kept his focus, giving Unfezant sharp commands and using precise timing. In the end, Unfezant's Aerial Ace landed a powerful hit, knocking Stoutland out and securing Ash's victory.

Cheren smiled as he recalled his Pokémon. "You've really grown, Ash. That was impressive."

Just then, Ash noticed two trainers in the gym watching with admiration. They approached, and Cheren gestured to them. "Ash, meet Nate and Rosa. They're trainers from around here who've taken a real interest in battles."

Nate stepped forward, his eyes shining with excitement. "Ash, that was amazing! You're really strong. How did you get this good?"

Ash chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "Well, it's all about keeping up with training and learning from each battle. Traveling to different regions and facing tough opponents has helped me grow."

Rosa nodded, looking inspired. "So it's about experience and learning along the way... That's so cool! We want to be strong like that, too."

Cheren nodded proudly. "With dedication, both of you can reach incredible heights. And maybe, one day, you'll be the ones inspiring other trainers."

Ash smiled at the two aspiring trainers, feeling grateful for the journey that had brought him this far. "Keep giving it your all—you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish."

After bidding farewell to Cheren, Nate, and Rosa, Ash and Serena set off for Undella Town. As Ash and Serena made their way toward Undella Town, they enjoyed the diverse landscapes and encountered a variety of Pokémon along the route, each one offering a unique challenge and chance to expand their team.

Their first encounter was in a dense patch of tall grass, where a vigilant Watchog popped up, watching their every move with sharp, alert eyes. It darted around, trying to keep its distance, but Pikachu's Quick Attack allowed Ash to get close enough. After a brief but spirited chase, Ash threw a Poké Ball and successfully captured Watchog.

Further down the path, they found themselves near a quiet clearing where a Stoutland rested beneath a tree. Serena admired the gentle giant, but as they got closer, Stoutland sensed their presence and stood up proudly, ready for a battle. Serena sent out her Delphox, who used a series of graceful Fire Spins to wear down the sturdy Stoutland. Finally, Serena captured it, smiling at her new powerful teammate.
