With a startle she awoke once more in her bed. This time it wasn’t fear or confusion she felt. It was anger.

‘Oh for fuck sakes!’

She grabbed her phone and saw the same missed call.

‘Ah, love. I apologise for,’ she didn’t give him a chance to finish his sentence.

‘Shut the fuck up! No, I'm not coming for a catch up!’

She hung up the phone and threw it across the room.

Sitting in her bed with her head in her hands she wondered if she had truly gone mad.

What the hell is happening to me?

She made her way downstairs and decided it was a great day to stay inside with every single door and window locked.

‘Okay, it's fine,’ she muttered to herself, ‘I just have to not see Hannibal.’

She retrieved her phone once more and called the police, only to realise her phone had no service, not even for emergency calls.

She groaned and ran downstairs to grab a knife. She sat on the couch and stared. She would flinch whenever there was any kind of small noise around her.

‘I'm going fucking crazy,’ she said.

She held her phone in her hand, staring at Will’s contact. She wanted nothing more than to have him beside her but right now she felt like she couldn't trust anyone. Not even the person she trusted the most.

A sudden knock at the door made her jump in shock. Creeping to the front door she peaked out to see it was Will. She opened the door and forced him inside.

‘Will, get in!’ She shouted. Practically dragging him in and slamming the door behind them.

‘What's wrong? Is everything okay?’ He asked.

She sighed and hugged him tightly, finally feeling somewhat safe.

She spoked in a whispered tone, ‘I’m so glad you're here.’

Will’s arms wrapped around her in return.

‘I feel like I'm going insane,’ she said.

‘It's okay, just breath, okay?’

She let herself just be held for a moment, finally feeling less alone.

‘Why don't we go out and get a coffee?’ He asked.

She shook her head before saying, ‘no, we can't leave. We have to stay here, so do you.’

Will could hear the fear in her voice and decided it was best to follow along, ‘okay, we can stay here. Sit down, I'll make you a coffee, okay?’

Will headed to the kitchen and made a pot of coffee for the both of them.

‘So, what's going on?’

The two friends ended up spending the entire day together, laughing and talking like they used to.

The sun was going down, Will poured two glasses of wine and handed her one and sat across from her.

‘I'm glad you came here today,’ she paused, ‘I really needed this.’

She sighed and took a sip of wine.

‘I'm glad we got to do this too,’ he looked at her with sadness in his eyes, ‘I care about you, I really do.’

She felt a sudden wave of exhaustion hit her. With a sigh she rested her head against the couch, trying to not fall asleep.

Will slowly stood up and kneeled in front of her.

‘Just rest,’ he whispered.

‘I think I drank a little too much,’ she said. Barely being able to keep her eyes open.

Will gently held onto her hand.

‘Go to sleep. Everything's okay,’ he said. Her eyes slowly closed and she fell limp against the chair.

She woke up in her bed again, feeling like she had the best sleep of her life.

She groaned and sat up.

She slowly picked up her phone, scared to look at the date.

‘Dammit!’

Of course the date hadn’t changed at all and yet again there was a missed call from Hannibal.

‘I didn't die all I did was go to sleep!’
