Toji opens his eyes as he jolts forward with sweat running down his forehead, he glances around and takes in his surroundings as he finds himself laying in a cheap bed with his clothes discarded all over the ground and his fiancee still asleep; after being years apart they found a cheap motel and did what you would think

He moves his legs over to the cold wooden ground as he runs his hand through his hair and sighs; he had these recurring nightmares over and over again at first time, Toji was able to stay awake but now they seemed to be catching back up to him as he gets up from the bed and grabs his clothes and puts them on and turns to see Kaina covering herself with the blanket

<Just this one time..I need to know..just once..>

He walks over to the other side of the bed and kneels down and holds Kaina's hand as she softly hums, she was the one person who stood by his side and never once faltered and that was just one of the many reasons why he loved her; he stood back up and kissed her forehead and grabbed his jacket and walked out of the room but before closing the door behind him

Rei Todoroki. How her life had forever changed in such a drastic way, she had done things that she wanted to make up for and slowly growing her relationship back with her sons and daughters as she sat down and looked out of the window from her room with a medical center; there were many regrets stirring inside of her mind but she held unto the hope that those mistakes could be fixed over time

She closed her eyes taking in the silence as she heard the door behind her open which was odd because she wasn't scheduled to have visitors and the doctors and nurses usually told her when they were stopping by to bring her medication; she opened her eyes and turned to the source of the sound as Toji closed the door behind him

Rei:I'm sorry but im afraid you have the wrong room...

Toji didn't immediately reply back as he glanced around the room finding it to be quite cozy; most likely she was given all of this stuff on behalf of a third party as Toji walked over to the bed and sat down, Rei nervously smiled at him feeling a bit uneasy at the presence of a stranger

"No. I don't. I know exactly where I am.."

Toji reaches into his jacket as Rei backs up a little in her chair alas Toji slowly pulls out a autumn bellflower from his large jacket and holds it out for Rei to take; he didn't blame her for being skeptical and knew if he was in her shoes then he'd feel the exact same way, nonetheless she reaches out and takes the flower as she smiles fondly at it

"Almost twenty years ago, you once met a boy who tried to steal your purse for some money. When you stopped him with your quirk, you didn't scold him but instead you helped him.."

Rei looks up from the autumn bellflower as she faintly remembers that encounter despite it being so long ago; Toji leans in and rubs his knuckles as he goes on
