30. Jealous

Next morning...
Aarna woke up and saw Niskarsh sitting on the couch in front of her ,with sleepy eyes while looking at her lovingly..

Niskarsh : Good morning butterfly , How are you feeling now ?
Aarna : Better...but why are you sitting there. Didn't you sleep the whole night ?
Niskarsh : Ahmm... might be an athlete's spirit entered your body yesterday night and you started moving your legs here and there , you also started kicking hard making me fall from the bed 5 times.
So I thought to save my life and sleep on the couch.
Aarna : I am so sorry Nishi ji , I didn't want to do that ever...but I don't know how..(she got emotional)I didn't want to disturb your sleep.

Niskarsh came nearer and hugged her..

Niskarsh : shushh...relax baccha , don't get emotional for those stupid reasons. And trust me I didn't sleep on the couch because of you ,disturbing me rather I thought to give you the whole bed so that you can sleep comfortably.
Aarna : but still..(he interrupted)
Niskarsh : Don't think anything now and just relax !!

Both of them stayed like this for a while but Aarna pulled herself back from the hug as she might get late for her college.
Before she enters the washroom.. Niskarsh stopped her.

Niskarsh : Just a minute butterfly.
( He went inside the washroom and came out after 2 minutes )

Niskarsh : I have filled the bathtub with warm water , you take your bath with that it will help to ease your cramps.

Aarna looked at him with an overwhelming eyes and then went inside to take bath..

One hour later...

Aarna was ready , she was combing her hair.. Niskarsh was also ready to go to  his office and currently he was sitting on the edge of the bed while tying his shoe lace..
His phone rings which was kept on the dressing table...

Aarna : Nishi ji , your friend Rohit is calling..
Niskarsh : Can you please put it on speaker Aaru , I am tying my shoe lace.
Aarna : hmm..

Call..
Rohit : Hii Nishi , I hope I didn't disturb you.
Niskarsh : absolutely not..
Rohit : By the way there's a good news for you.
Niskarsh : (replied in an usual tone) What ??
Rohit : Our diva...Shakti is coming from America today.

Instantly a smile formed on Niskarsh's face...he seemed happy and very elated.

Niskarsh : Is it true ??
Rohit : Yeah bro..we can meet Shakti , today evening.
Niskarsh : Definitely we would..

With this Rohit cuts the call..

Niskarsh : God.. finally after a year Shakti is coming to India. I am quite excited.
( He was talking to himself )

With this he left for office.. leaving Aarna puzzled.

Aarna : (speaks to herself) Who is this girl Shakti ?? Why is he so excited to meet her ?
He never looked so happy before..is that girl really special for him.

She sees the clock and realised that she was already 10 minutes late for her college. She rushed..

Evening ,
Aarna came home little early and was in the hall while sitting on the sofa..
Just few minutes later , Shresh entered and lied in the sofa while keeping his head over Aarna's lap meanwhile she carriesed his hair..

Shresh : Bhabhi , you look tensed. Is something bothering you ?
Aarna : (thought for a while and then replied) Shreshu..do you know about Nishi ji 's friend Shakti ?
Shresh : Ohh yeah.. ofcourse. I know all his friends.
Aarna : Do Nishi ji really likes her ?
Shresh : her ?? Who ?? (Asked while raising his eyebrows up )
Aarna : Shakti. She's coming from America today and Nishi ji is going to meet her this evening. He looked quite excited to meet her.
