5. Studying aboard

I'm now officially an adult! Happy 21!

2 days ago, I turned 21! I know, a lot of you would ask me how does it feel to be an actual adult. My answer would be: I have totally no idea! Ha ha.

I and my best friend Rose got into a New York University School of Law! (Our dream came true!)

School will start in a week. I will be moving to New York in 2 days. I'm so excited, Ah!! Ethan also got in a good university- Harvard university. We will visit each other on Christmas.

I started packing and someone called me. I picked up my phone and it was Rose.

Me: ''Hi Rose, what's up?''

Rose: ''I just wanted to ask when are you leaving for New York?''

Me: ''In 2 days. You?''

Rose: ''Same!''

Me: ''But, are you ready?''

Rose: ''Yes! I'm so ready! And you?''

Me: ''I'm more than ready! Sorry, I have to pack! I got a go now.''

Rose: ''Okay, then see you in school, right?''

Me: ''Yes, see you!''

I started to pack my suitcase. After 1h 30 min. I was done. It was pretty late, I went to the kitchen and cooked some pasta with green salad and some orange juice. Then I got in a bed and started to a new book - ''Twisted love''. (Let me know if this book is worth reading. Thank you! ❤️) 

After reading some pages I decided to go to sleep.

Next day went like any other day, except I had to prepare for traveling to New York.

Then came Tuesday when I had to take off to go to New York.

8:00 AM

I was sleeping when Ethan called me.

Ethan: ''Hey, are you there?''

Me: ''Hi, um...where?''

Ethan: ''At the airport''

I checked the clock and it was 8:00 AM.

Me: ''I OVERSLEPT! Oh my...''

Ethan: ''Ha ha. Yes, you did. You better hurry up, after 20 minutes the plane will take off''

Me: ''Okay, okay, and thank you for calling me''

Ethan: ''You're welcome!''

Then we ended our quick call and I rushed to bathroom to get ready, took my bags, said a quick goodbye to my parents and rushed to my car.

I arrived at the airport in time. Security checked my bags and then I and got on the board. The flight took 2h and 10 minutes. We had a safe landing and we were finally there. After boarding off I went to my apartment. I have to study for 3 years. When I entered my apartment or dorm I saw Rose, she was packing her things out.

Me: ''Hi! Long time no see ha ha.''

Rose: ''Oh hello there! You are not wrong ha ha.''

Me: ''I like our apartment, actually. It's cozy and spacious.''

Rose: ''I totally agree. I will take this bed.''

She pointed on the bed who was on the left side.

After unpacking our stuff, we decided to explore the New York. We saw the Liberty statue and many museums. The city was wonderful and colorful too.

5 days passed without noticing.
