Me: ''Finally Christmas!''
Rose: ''Yes! I'm so excited!''
Me: ''Me too! We will have a Christmas dinner with Ethan's family! I'm so excited!''
Rose: ''Aurelia, do you like Ethan? I have seen how you are looking at him every time he is near you.
Rose asked me while packing her luggage.
Me: '''What? No, I don't like him. He is just a friend to me.''
Rose: '''You sure? You know you can always tell me anything, I'm your best friend.''
Me: ''Okay... I like him really. I know our past wasn't one of the greatest as friends but maybe that could change...''
Rose: ''Girl, you have to tell him. I know it's hard, but at least try. I am rooting for you.''
Me: '''But when should I tell him that?''
Rose: '''Easy! At Christmas dinner.''
Me: ''No! I mean, It's so soon! I won't be ready...''
Rose: '''Yes, you will! Don't worry girl!''
Me: ''I will try, I promise.''
Rose: ''I wish you all the best!''
I smiled at her and started to pack for holidays. I was also thinking about what Ethan would say to me.
Flying day!
I took off and after 2h 40 min I was back in Chicago. It had started snowing and the whole city looked like a movie. It was pretty peaceful, just like before a warm and quiet Christmas. These holidays have always been my favorite and it will never change.
I arrived, unpacked my bags, cause I will be staying here for almost a week. Yay!
Everyone welcomed me with warm hugs and kisses. It really felt so good to be back at home. The smell of an apple pie in the oven smelled so delicious!
Time went fast and I got ready for today's evening. I wore a black, short and sparkly dress with white heels and necklace. In my hair I had a white bow as well.
We welcomed our guests and sat near the table. The atmosphere was so nice. We prayed before eating. After eating I and Ethan shared how are we doing at our schools.
Then it was time to open our presents. I opened mine first who was from Ethan. (Ah! Yay!) He gifted me a nice necklace with a pink heart. I thanked him. The necklace was so beautiful.
Ethan got a new perfume from me. I was relieved that he liked my gift.
Then everyone was on their own around the house. Someone was watching Christmas movies and some were reading their favorite books. I took some ornaments and started to put them on our Christmas tree. Then Ethan came too.
Ethan: ''Oh hi, how are you?''
Me: ''I'm doing great and you?''
Ethan: ''Same here. I see you enjoy putting ornaments on the Christmas tree.''
Me: ''Yeah, that is my favorite part of Christmas traditions.''
Ethan: ''I agree with you.''
Me: ''Ethan?''
Ethan: ''Yes?''
Me: ''Can I tell you something?''
Ethan: ''Of course, go ahead.''
Me: ''I... um... I like... I like the snow.''
Ethan: ''Ha ha me too, but is there anything more you want to tell me?''
Me: ''Yes there is. The truth is that I like you. I know it sounds stupid and I...''
He just kissed me on lips.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED GUYS?
Ethan: ''I like you too.''
I smiled at him and said: ''Merry Christmas!''
He smiled at me too and before kissing me again he said: ''Merry Christmas, love!''
I hope you enjoyed this chapter! <33
