The next day I do not eat. I do not drink.
I don't go to Skye's promotion ceremony.
I don't go to Moppy's kitchen.
At 5am, I'm up and literally dragged into the training room.
By 7pm I am so exhausted I just shower and sleep.
The next day I'm up again.
Moppy gives me breakfast in bed. I eat pancakes with extra strawberries and chocolate sauce.
Then, I'm ordered to go to Edward's study, where I sit uncomfortably for 4 hours while we discuss how his plan will unfold.
We discuss how I will try and charm him. How I will need to fool him and then stab him on the wedding night.
We even used the battle display table for guidance as he tells me where each room in the castle is and where every secret passageway is hidden.
His highly educated knowledge about Valoria makes me feel sick. How does one even process all this information?
We talk about his plan for 4 hours before I am sent to the training grounds to once again train for restless hours.
At 8 pm, I finish. I take a bath before falling into my bed and drifting off to sleep.
The next day. I train all over again. After that, I take etiquette classes with stepmother.
The following day, I questioned Edward. "Why bother with training when all I need to do is seduce the king?"
He ignores me.
And finally, on Sunday night, after what seemed like the one hundredth time of going over the plan, I leave Edward's study and ask Eve and Moppy to help me pack.
Tomorrow, we leave at dawn.
