part 2 a brother?

DURING you're journey towards liyue aether gaved you a weapon.

it was a katana that had a shade of light blue and some visible ice marks around. the hilt was dark blue with a blue electro symbol. it was like as if the sword was made for you. nonetheless after being trained by aether for a few days you soon learnt how to use you're new vision and weapon with ease as if it was natural to you.

during your travel to liyue you've set up camps on the way and whenever it's night aether tried persuading you to just relax and sleep but you brushed it off saying you don't require sleep and stood on gaurd the whole night attacking any enemies or creatures who dares to attack you and you're companions.

you've also cutted you're hair short since you didn't liked it. it just reminds you of someone.. whoever that person is you despised her.

you were currently nearing liyue harbor city as you looked toward it with admiration.

it looks like aether and paimon had the same reaction towards the city as you unknowingly smiled at the pair. after you've reached liyue harbor aether wanted to see the geo archon asap which is understandable.

you listened to paimon speaking as she spoke
"guess it's a good thing venti brought it up earlier. otherwise we definitely would've missed this year's rite descension."

you tilted you're head at the name brushing it off thinking it was a random person who helped them.

"paimon you do know when that is right?"
aether deadpanned

"uhh.. might be today or might also be tomorrow.."
she said with a sweatdrop

"look, we're already in liyue so let's go ask some locals."
she continued making aether sigh

the three of you asked the locals of liyue about the geo archon's information.

most of the time you stood.. awkwardly. you weren't really good at communicating than you thought you would be.

after talking with most of the locals you all went to yujing terrace to make a prayer. you glanced at aether and paimon confusingly you copied their action and clasped you're hands together closing you're eyes.

I wish i could gain my memories back.

after praying it seemed the rite was about to start as people started to crowd up in the middle. you and aether tried looking through the crowd but it was hard to see.

"we gotta get to the front! we can't see squat back here!"
paimon exclaimed with a huff

paimon floated ahead as you and aether tried making you're way through the crowd. you spotted a woman in the middle sending geo power towards the sky. you followed the geo power and gazed towards the sky with an emotionless look. the sky began to darken and a huge dragon suddenly fell. numerous gasps and whispers could be heard as the dragon layed motionless in the ground.

the woman inspected the dragon with a complicated look till she finally exclaimed
"rex lapis has been killed! seal the exits!"

'what.'
you thought staring at the dead dragon with you're usual blank look.

you followed aether and paimon sneakly escaping from the gaurds. unfortunately during your escape aether stepped on a rock catching the gaurds attention.

you all began to ran as the gaurd yelled "seize them!" the gaurds cornered you as you took a defensive stance planning to use you're vision till you heard a voice
