hello dear readers i hope you are all doing well.
I'm sorry for the very short chapter and not being able to update lately!!
i've been busy with life and mental health and stuff lately and it's hard to find the motivation to continue writing..
but i'll try my best to update!
you sat on your bed fiddling with the doll as time passed. it finally became morning as aether yawned sitting up. he then faced towards you as he asked
"Mitsuki, you haven't slept?"
you stared back at him with a deadpan look as you replied
"i don't require sleep like you mortals do. i'm a puppet. remember?"
aether sweatdropped as he apologized
"o-oh right. sometimes i forget that you're not a human.. sorry."
you brushed his apology off saying that it wasn't a big deal as aether got up and woke up paimon. after a whole 15 minutes of paimon struggling to wake up aether finally snapped as he screamed
"PAIMON. WAKE UP THIS INSTANT OR ELSE YOU WILL BE OUR BREAKFAST."
paimon suddenly got up as she screamed rushing to hide behind you
"AHHHH! paimon's sorry! please don't eat me!!"
you sighed as you rubbed your temples
"paimon. he was joking..."
after the three of you ate breakfast you all went to see collei hoping she's in a better mood. you've went to her house only to find tighnari standing nearby
"Ah. it's you three. I was just about to go look for you."
paimon floated to tighnari confusion written on her face
"huh? tighnari what are you doing here? where's collei?"
tighnari replied with a disappointed look glancing towards collei who is sleeping
"i came to check on collei's condition. and to put it simply. she's not well."
the three of you glanced at collei with a worried look
"you mean she's sick? how could she be.. oh wait a minute. could it be because of what paimon did yesterday..?"
paimon said with a worried look. you then moved over to paimon and embraced her much how you used to do with you're brother in the past. paimon seemed to calm down abit as she hugged you back.
the four of you went somewhere more isolated as tighnari then explained collei's condition.
you were disgusted. how could the fatui.. mainly "the docter" do such horrible things to collei? you began to worry for you're brother's safety as you furrowed your eyebrows and clinched your fists hard. small few cracks appearing in your palm by the pressure but after awhile it healed as if nothing happened.
