The Curse of the Coat

Welcome back boys and girls to another scary tale told by your host with the most Deirdre Stephenson. Lucky for us we still have ten more stores to get to before we close this volume of short stories of curses before we move on to the mangled stories which will not have happy endings either trust me they won't. Once more gather around by our lovely campfire while passing around the candy apples and s'mores once settled down we can begin. Comify? Good now we can begin and our new tale is entitled the curse of the Coat. There is a Kmart located somewhere in a sleepy town by the name of Silent Hill located in Pennsylvania only people have heard of the town those who live in the city or around it. Mary Ann and Judith Combs twin sisters who get along like most sisters would while they would share with each other well clothes and make up with each other. The twins went out shopping because one needs a new winter jacket the one she has is very worn out and doesn't keep her warm enough on cold days. It was Mary Ann who needed the new coat so they went to Kmart to do their shopping which is the store where they would normally do their shopping since the store always has nice things on sale for the twin sisters to want to buy. So now they are at the women's section as they begin to look for a new coat for Mary Ann. So Mary Ann is looking at a winter denim jacket as it looked so warm inside so she got one that fit her so she bought the coat as the twins went home eager to show their parents Mary Ann's new coat. Their parents saw the new coat as they asked her to put it on as she did they said she looks great in her new coat. Lucky Mary Ann got the coat as soon as she did because winter came early this year. When winter came Mary Ann wore her new coat every time she went out and some times Judith would wear her sister's coat because it keeps her warmer over the coat she has now. When Christmas time came the twins woke up early as they are eager to see what their parents got for them for Christmas this year. When it was time to open gifts the parents took photos of the twins opening up their gifts. It was only the next day the father went to get the photos and when he got them he went in shock to see his daughter's photos as they were both looking like they were murdered by someone taking a shotgun to them but how can this be. When he got home he first showed his wife the photos as she began to cry when the twins heard their mother crying and they went to see why. When the twins saw what was distressing their mother they both went to horror not understanding why their photos looked like someone murdered them. Since then the twins have been suffering unexplained pain everywhere even in their stomach as well. The parents are now worried about the twins that they took them to the hospital because no matter what they gave them nothing was helping them with their pain. Now at the hospital the twins are examined by a doctor taking tests they will need to understand what is causing the twins pain. No matter what test the doctor took nothing at all to explain what is causing the twins pain so they get admitted to the hospital because the doctor is very concerned about their well being. Since the twins were admitted to the hospital nothing that they could give them helped them at all yet their doctor who is getting frustrated not knowing what the cause of Mary Ann and Judith's pain is not knowing the cause doesn't help him to solve it. So the doctor asked permission to put them both in deep sleep would be best for them until he can figure the cause to their problem so the parents gave permission. It has been weeks that the twins had been put in a deep sleep state for their well being since the pain is too great for them to handle any longer. The parents have been at the hospital neither one of them is willing to leave as long as their daughters are in danger. One morning the morning nurse came in to check on the twins and when she got inside their room all she could do was scream because the twins were both in their beds looking like someone came in and killed the twins but how. The parents who were in the visitors lounge heard the nurse as they both were running to see what happened and so did other nurses along with doctors once they went inside they all went in shock to see both twins dead in their beds so did the mother scream bloody murder herself. A week later after the funeral the coat that Mary Ann bought went back to the store again only to be sold again to another woman who could want it as no one knew it was the coat that killed the twins because it was cursed. That is the end of this story boys and girls while I do hope you have enjoyed this story as much as I enjoyed telling it.
