The night was long and exhausting for Sasha. Sitting on the couch, he was surrounded by three men, likely representatives of the magical community to which he had just been so abruptly introduced. They questioned him relentlessly about what had happened, about every detail of the incident with the man in black. Sasha, still in shock, tried to answer as best as he could, but a part of him couldn't stop thinking about Alex.

He felt guilty for being separated from his friend, especially after what they had just gone through together. Alex, who had been taken elsewhere for treatment and perhaps to answer his own set of questions. Sasha wondered if he was okay, if he was safe.

Questions from the men kept raining down, but Sasha's mind wandered, lost in thought. One of the agents had to snap his fingers to bring him back to reality.

"You're saying the dark wizard used the Cruciatus Curse on you, and it didn't work?" asked a blond man, perhaps in his thirties.

"Maybe he miscast the spell?" suggested one of his colleagues.

"I don't think an Umbral Master could miscast an Unforgivable Curse," replied the blond man with a touch of skepticism.

The third man, who seemed to be the oldest and most authoritative of the group, spoke up. "We have all we need to know," he said curtly. "We should erase his memory."

"What?! No!" exclaimed Sasha, horrified at the prospect.

The leader of the agents looked at him coldly. "It's for your safety and that of our community. What you witnessed and experienced tonight is dangerous for both you and us."

Sasha felt trapped, his mind racing desperately for a way out. "But... what about Alex? Are you going to erase his memory too?"

The blond man hesitated for a moment before responding. "Alex is a wizard; he already knows about all of this. You, on the other hand, are a Muggle, and the magical world must remain hidden from those who don't belong to our community."

« You're kidding me! you have no right to alter my memory, it's immoral, it's mine! And anyway, it's your fault; you should keep your dark wizards in check or whatever!"

Without paying attention to his protests, the man who seemed to be leading the group cast the spell, "Obliviate," pointing his wand at Sasha. Sasha closed his eyes, expecting to feel pain or a strange sensation, something to indicate that his memory was being erased.

A few seconds passed. He opened his eyes, surprised to see the three men still there, seemingly getting ready to leave. Watching them, he realized they were looking at him with expressions of confusion.

"Did you change your mind?" Sasha asked, his tone defiant. "To think I believed you were heartless."

"How is this possible?" the blond man murmured, looking perplexed. "The spell didn't work?"

The sound of heels echoed in the room, and the older woman who had confronted the dark mage earlier entered, her face serious.

"The shadow master has lost all his powers..." she announced curtly.

Silence fell, heavy and laden with tension. The agents looked at Sasha as if he were an unexplainable phenomenon. The woman stepped closer, her piercing eyes searching for answers in the young boy's gaze.

"This means that..." one of the agents began, but the woman cut him off.

"It means that something unusual is at play here." She turned to Sasha, her expression hardening. "We can't let you go until we understand what's happening. You could be a danger to our world or a key element of a greater threat."
