Jaehyun sat alone in the dimly lit café, stirring his coffee absentmindedly. The memories of his past relationship with Sungho played like a broken record in his mind. They had broken up a month ago, and Sungho had already moved on, finding someone new. Jaehyun's friends were also Sungho's friends, so he knew all too well about Sungho's new relationship.

The doorbell chimed, and Jaehyun looked up to see Sungho walk in, hand in hand with his new boyfriend. They looked happy, and Jaehyun couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Sungho's new partner was everything Jaehyun wasn't—sweet, kind, and seemingly perfect.

Jaehyun's thoughts drifted back to the times they had shared. The late-night talks, the laughter, and the love they once had. He remembered how Sungho used to tell him he was the most beautiful person he'd ever seen, words that now felt like empty promises.

Sungho spotted Jaehyun and walked over, a smile on his face. "Hey, Jaehyun. How have you been?"

Jaehyun forced a smile. "I've been good. You?"

"Great, actually," Sungho replied, glancing at his new boyfriend. "This is Minho."

Minho extended a hand, and Jaehyun shook it, trying to hide the turmoil inside. "Nice to meet you," he said politely.

As they chatted, Jaehyun couldn't help but compare himself to Minho. He picked apart every detail, wondering if Sungho had ever looked at him the way he looked at Minho now. It was painful, but Jaehyun knew he had to let go.

"I hope you're happy," Jaehyun said finally, his voice sincere but tinged with sadness. "But not like how you were with me."

Sungho's smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly recovered. "I am happy, Jaehyun. I wish you the best too."

Jaehyun nodded, watching as Sungho and Minho left the café. He took a deep breath, trying to push away the lingering feelings. He wanted Sungho to be happy, but a part of him selfishly hoped that Sungho would never find anyone better than him.

As he walked out of the café, Jaehyun decided it was time to move on. He deserved to be happy too, even if it meant finding happiness without Sungho.
