Minho's POV:
I woke up to the bright sun shining through my window, Felix right beside me, and theTV still on.

I rolled over to check my phone for the time.

"CRAP! Felix! Wake up! We're late for school!", I yelled.

"Shut up Minho. Let me sleep... Wait. WHAT! We're late for school! Hurry up!" Felix screamed in shock. Felix, on the other hand, was taking deep breaths to calm himself down. Right now is a great time to be calm for him, I guess.

"You're still in bed! I'm already dressed! How about you hurry up! Crap, I don't even have time for breakfast! And we're going to make the driver wait! My dad hates paying extra for making him wait!" I panicked.

"Calm down. We'll get there on time. I promise."

"Calm down and promise over my dead body! I can't be late! My dad's already mad at me, no point in adding insult to the injury!Let's go!"

"Bro. It's 6:45,it's a Saturday, and we're on break. You blind eyes misread the time. And you interrupted my beauty sleep." he pouted. "You're really dumb for a prince. How are you going to take over if you don't even know how to read?", he taunted.

"Sorry. Let's go back to sleep then." I apologized. I was also kind of tired after realizing my stupid mistake.

"No point. I'm already awake due to a monkey screeching." Felix insulted. "Now leave me alone. I'm cold."

"Rude! Now c'mon, we have to get the cookies in the oven" I said as I dragged Felix out of his bed and into his slippers.

"Put on a jacket at least. I don't want my dad to see us in pajamas wandering around,He'll think that it's improper.", I suggested.

"Fine. Let's go now.", he tiredly said.

We walked down the stairs silently, both of us too tired to talk. After 10 minutes of walking , we finally made it to Felix's private kitchen.

"Get the cookie dough and put it in the microwave." Felix commanded.

"Okay."

"Hurry up!" He yelled.

"Hey! No yelling at your prince, you dummy! Now shut up!"

We finally got it to defrost, and it took us some time to shape them into balls. Two hours, to be exact. The dough was still not properly defrosted yet, and we didn't want to put it in the microwave, fearing that it would melt the chocolate chips.

"Finally. I wanna lay on the floor.", Felix whined.

"Don't. You'll get dirty.", I told him.

He proceeded to lay on the floor anyway. He never listens. I tried to drag him, I even tried picking him up, but it was no use. He was way too heavy, and he wouldn't stop slapping me.

"C'mon, get up! What if someone comes in and sees you?"

"I don't care. Leave me alone!" Felix complained. Talk about looking after me. Here he is, lying on the ground and he says that someone needs to look after the prince.

"Fine. But don't blame me if you get seen." I warned, then proceeded to lay on the table, watching my phone.

Two minutes later, I heard a light snoring. I poked my head down to find Felix, all curled up, peacefully sleeping. Poor kid. I started to feel sorry for him. He has to go through my complaints, my anger, while he has no one to talk about his feelings with, not even me. I realized that I have been a bit too self-centered lately, to even notice his feelings. But the main point is that I forgot that Felix was also human too.

Felix's POV:

I decided to take a nap on the floor while the cookies were baking.

Minho's probably wondering why I'm napping right now. It's because I stayed up all night, trying to find a way to tell Minho my biggest secret. A secret that nobody knows. I lost my mother and father when I was eight, so I had no one else to count as my parents other than the king and queen. Well, mostly the queen. The king, not so much. He thinks that having an adopted kid is a shame for his presentation as the royal family in front of his kingdom and nation. That's why when I'm in public, I'm addressed as Minho's bodyguard. If I was their son, I think that the king would rather not be king. And adding that secret, just thinking about it is already enough pain for me to imagine.

I suddenly feel a warm fabric being draped over me. It must've been Minho's coat. As the thought dragged me back to Minho's situation, I just thought that his marriage dating arrangement was a lot more urgent than mine right now. He is the prince, after all.

I decided to stay asleep, until a rush of heat came out on my face.

"Minho? What happened?" I asked, my mind still fuzzy after just 'waking up'.

"Lixxie? You're awake now? The cookies looked around ready, so I took them out. I didn't know that you'd wake up.", Minho explained.

"The cookies are ready?" I asked. "How long was I asleep?"

"Saying that the cookies took around half an hour to defrost properly, then they were in the oven for around 12 minutes, so I'd say around 42 minutes."

*DING*

*DING*

A notification popped up on my phone, and so did Minho's phone. I opened up my KakaoTalk (Korean Snapchat) to see someone tried to text me. No one texts me because they know I hate texting, so who would text me?

Wait a minute. Minho's mother? No wait, she never uses her phone! Why now?

I read the message and it said:

Felix, please escort Minho down to the main entrance. Quickly. I will take full responsibility if the guards or the king loses his temper.

"C'mon. Let's go." Minho said. His voice has lost all emotions. I could only guess that his dad sent an email to him.

As we went down the main hall, he explained that he got his dad's email about going to the main entrance hall, and we have to meet someone over there. And he doesn't care if we were still in our sleeping clothes.

"Well that's a change. He always makes sure that we're in our normal daytime clothes if we were to meet someone.", I said as we rushed down the stairs.

"I have a good feeling about what is happening. We're going to meet my 'girlfriend', and in my dad's view, 'future queen' of this stupid country. Now hurry up.' He angrily snapped. His eyes were red, and he was picking up his pace. I really guess that he wants this over as soon as possible. He never runs like this.

We finally got to the hall, and as soon as we arrived, Minho darted in some other direction, probably to the food. Can't blame him. Under the food table is the best place to hide.

"Hey Felix, do you know where Minho is?" a voice said. It was a slightly deep girl's voice, one that was very familiar.

I immediately recognized the voice. It was the voice that belonged to the person who killed Seungmin.

"Han Jieun?"
