"Read it out loud." I said to Jieun.
"To Jieun:
Sorry for saying that. I didn't want to say that, but I had to, or else my plan won't work."
"Well, no point in apologizing now. Could've told me earlier during our walk, that idiot." Jieun said. I could tell that she was still fuming about Leeseo.
"No time to be angry at her. Calm down." I said. This was probably really important if Leeseo didn't tell her during the walk, but on a piece of paper she "accidentally" dropped on her way out."
"Continue reading. If we want to get out, that paper may be the only chance." I said to Jieun.
"Then shut your mouth and let me read!" she said. I shrinked back, then I listened as she kept reading. She was mad. Really mad.
"Either way, I didn't just make this an apology letter. I made it to help you get out of the dungeons. It's a password that I figured out. If you press the most normal-looking brick, a password pad will unlock. Type in:
5 0 3 4
2 1 1
It's your favorite code in your favorite order. Just make sure when you type it in, it's in reverse order.
She typed it in, and there was a long beep.
"The King has been warned." a cool female voice said.
"What was that about?" Jieun asked.
"Crap. It means a call has been sent to the King's phone, and there is no decline button when this thing pops up on his phone." I said. She looked furious.
"AND YOU COULDN'T SAY ANYTHING BEFORE I PRESSED IT!?!?" she yelled. She stormed to me, and I was prepared to be beaten up by her.
Instead, she grabbed her bag that was right beside me, and pulled out a couple more guns.
"Felix, when the queen wakes up, give her this. If there is time, teach her how to use it." she said. Felix nodded.
By the way, if you are able to press the brick, the king's phone will get a warning. It's usually used if a criminal wants to escape the dungeons."
"How much time do we have?" she asked.
"Not much. We should go the other way though. The other way just has a door, but the passcode is much harder than this. Even Leeseo's cousin can't get the answer out." I said. "Keep on reading."
"Minho, at this point, should've talked to you about the other side. If he doesn't then ask him."
"Well, we already got-"
"Wait. What do you mean by 'answer'?" she asked.
"It's kind of like questions about the king's childhood, and then you have to do a hand scan." I told her. "Keep on reading. Maybe there's more stuff she told us that we can use."
"The hand scan is at the end of this note, attached with tape."
"Oh. So that's what that hanging thing is." I said.
"Really? I didn't even notice it." she said.
"Dang. You're blind." I teased.
"Shut up! Now let me keep on reading.".
"Now get going. You have around 10 minutes, probably 3 at this point if you're reading it with Minho. Meet me at the top floor. There is a secret elevator at the main door of the dungeons."
"That's the end of the note?" I asked.
"Yeah. Now let's go. I'm rethinking right now. I think we should bring Felix and the queen. In case."
"Sure. I'll carry her." said Felix, who had been silent the whole time.
"No, that's okay. I'll carry my mother." I replied.
"You can't even carry yourself, let alone your mother. Let Felix do it. Let's go. Don't waste anymore time."
And we all gathered our belongings, then started running toward the other side of the dungeons.
Hi! Sorry for the really short chapter. This one was a rushed one, but I think it still turned out pretty well. Sorry if it didn't meet your standards. I'll make a longer chapter for the next one. But one reminder, I think I forgot to mention this, but I'm going to take a break between every three chapters, because like I said in the last couple chapters, this is a school project, and I decided to post it because I found this kind of nice, so I decided to post this. This will probably go through the whole school year, so stay tuned! Thank you for reading this book, and I hope you have a good day/night!
