ESTELLE'S POV
I arrived at school just as the clock struck 9 AM, and the hallways were buzzing with chaos and the school sides filled with stalls.
I made my way to the library, where my friends—Jeanette, Laura, Angelina, Bea, Marie, and Rence—were already gathered around a table, immersed in a pile of books and snacks.
It felt good to be surrounded by them, especially after the stressful weeks we'd had.
"Hey, Estelle!" Angelina called out, waving me over. "You made it just in time! We were just discussing the concert tonight."
I plopped down in a chair, feeling a rush of excitement. "What's the plan?" I asked, eager to join in.
Angelina leaned in, her eyes sparkling. "Are we all going to stay at 7 PM to watch Cape Avenue perform? Cuz I am!"
"Absolutely!" we all chimed in, enthusiasm bubbling over. The thought of seeing a live band—one of our favorites—was just the kind of escape we needed.
"Do you think they'll play our favorite song?" My boyfriend, David asked.
"Of course! They'd be crazy not to!" Laura replied, her usual confidence shining through.
As we continued buzzing about the concert, Rence suddenly piped up with a grin, "While you all are out enjoying the concert down at the school plaza, I'll just be here studying in the library."
The room erupted in laughter, and I couldn't help but tease him. "Oh sure, Rence, because that's what everyone dreams of on a concert night—studying alone in the library!"
Rence feigned offense, holding a hand to his chest. "Hey, someone has to keep up the GPA! You all will thank me when you're struggling with finals!"
"Please, you'll still be here during finals, too!" Laura teased, throwing a playful wink his way. "Hopefully you get suspended by the end of the year"
"Seriously, Rence, we'll bring you back a souvenir—like a concert T-shirt or something!" Angelina said, grinning.
"Make it a signed poster of Cape Avenue, and I might consider joining you next time!" he shot back, finally cracking a smile.
Laura laughed, "Nah, we bring him drugs"

GABRIEL'S POV
Time check, 5:30 pm
As we approached Castlemonte University my jaw practically dropped as I look through the window of our van.
I was walking alongside my bros—Kevin, Harris, Jacob, and Brian—and we all had our eyes wide open, taking in the stunning sights.
Seriously, this place was like something out of a movie.
"Dude, look at that fountain!" Kevin exclaimed, pointing to a beautiful water feature surrounded by well-manicured gardens. "It's like a scene from a fairy tale!"
"I know, right?" I replied, still in awe. "Our school has a broken water electric that barely works, dirty place, smelly, cheap, damaged, but here, this place has a freaking palace!"
We were guided inside to the school lounge, which was equally breathtaking.
Kevin spoke, "Dude, Cape Avenue is performing here as well"
"That's crazy! How expensive this school is to afford Cape Avenue!"
The moment we stepped in, it felt like we had entered a whole new world.
