Later that night; Boat Ride

Time had whined down, and we had finally left the museum around 7:00. Now, it was 8:25, and we arrived at the boat ride. I loved that it was at night; everything felt so much prettier and peaceful under the stars. But honestly, I was feeling bummed about what I said to Anna.

I know she heard me, and now she was switching from my class to night classes. It seemed so strange, why would Mr. Owen do that? I didn't think I could come back from this; I really messed up.

As we boarded the boat, a man started to point out different things along the way. There was a mixture of excitement and fear when the boat engine roared to life. Everyone around us was terrified, but deep down, I knew it would be worth it.

I looked over and saw Ori and Maya panicking, so I went over. "What's wrong?" I laughed.

"We're on the Titanic; we're going to die, smart ass!" Ori replied, his eyes wide.

Maya gasped, "Look, mama ain't raise no hoe, but I always stayed away from water!"

Ori then tossed himself onto Maya. "Hold me, Maya!" he yelled.

Maya pushed him off "Fuck no! I'm not holding you, G. It's every man for himself, and trust me, I'm getting on that lifeboat first! Pet's and kids first my ass , fuck them children and animals!" She said 

Ori cried, "I need Anna! Where is my comfort person? She always knows how to calm me down!"

"She's probably at the bottom of the boat; that's the first part that flooded. Red is doomed!"Maya said

"Oh no! Not my beloved friend! Maya, this is all your fault!" Ori exclaimed.

Maya shot back, "My fault? I'm black! I'm not saving anybody! Nobody told Anna to be Dora the Explorer and go off exploring!" She folded her arms with a smirk.

"Well, call me Boots because I'm nothing without her," Ori said.

Maya rolled her eyes, "Well, Boots, good luck finding her."

I tried to keep my cool but felt the jealousy bubble up inside me. "Both of you, calm down! Nothing's flooding; she's probably with that Sage girl." I tried to sound calm.

"Damn, K, you sound jealous," Maya laughed.

"I don't know why. Sage has a girl," ori muttered.

"Wait, she what? She has a girl?" I said, feeling my heart sink.

"Yeah, her and Anna are just really close," Ori explained.

"Oh..." I said softly.

"Yeah, you did the most for no reason trying to make her jealous," Ori continued.

"I didn't—"

"Hush! Where is she?"Ori said looking at us

I shrugged " I have no Idea.. Like I said, she's with Sage or something.

" She can't be with Sage because, Sage is over there with that blonde girl" Ori said

" Okay.. I'm starting to worry because Gia and that dude has been making out for hours, so we know she not with her" I laughed

Ori started dramatically panting " My Separation Anxiety is kicking in."

"Bro, calm down. I'll go find her," maya declared, and with that, she dashed off , leaving me even more anxious about what was happening between Anna and me.
