It was another day of College and I was just finishing up my mythology class and it was boring as usual. I thought that when I decided to take up mythology that it would be fun since it's my favorite thing in the entire damn world , but I guess not since the teacher is so boring and all he ever does is talk about his life .

"You know, back in my college days, we didn't have all these fancy gadgets. We had to rely on our wits and pure determination. I remember this one time during finals week..."

I whispered, "Here we go again..."

Another girl whispered back " I know, right? Every class turns into a trip down his memory lane."

And that's how I managed to ace all my exams. Now, where was I? Oh yes, the ancient Greek gods"He said

" Zeus was very great and he reminds me of myself. You know I had all the girls back in my days. They referred to me as Champ" he smiled

"Professor, can we get back to the lesson? We were supposed to discuss the significance of mythology in modern culture." A girl said

"Ah, yes, yes. But you see, my experiences are quite relevant. They shaped my understanding of these kind of things in ways that you can't even imagine.

"More like they shaped his ability to talk about himself endlessly." A boy mumbled

"Now, let me tell you about another fascinating story from my sophomore year..."

I sighed " If I hear another story , I'm going to end it all.

The girl said " We can hold hands as we jump off of the damn clift together"

"So there I was, in the middle of the quad, when suddenly...I had to rescue a baby duck from an big alligator"

The girl next to me said, "I swear, if he mentions the quad one more time, I'm going to lose it."

Student 2 whispering back "Or that time he 'single-handedly saved the library from a squirrel invasion."

"And that's how I became the legend of the quad! Now, back to the gods. You know, Zeus himself would have been impressed with my quick thinking."

" Okay... I'm about to lose it" the girl said

Student raising hand again, "Professor, can we please focus on the actual mythology content? Like, maybe something about Zeus that isn't related to your college days?"

Student4 muttering "If he says 'secret society,' I'm walking out."

"Ah, but my dear students, my college days are a myth in themselves! Speaking of myths, did I ever tell you about the time I almost joined a secret society?"

I laughed "There's your Cue to get up and walk out of class."

He continued

"Yes, it was a dark and stormy night, much like the tales of old. The initiation ritual was something out of a mythological epic..." Professor said to us

I said "I can't believe this is happening. We're never going to learn anything at this rate."

Student 2 whispering back, "Well, at least his stories are good for a laugh. It's like mythology, but with a little more ego."

"And that's how I became the unofficial guardian of the quad. Now, let's dive into the mythology of The Hercules. Did I ever tell you about the time I man wrestled a bear?"

Entire Class in unison Yes, Professor, you did!"

Just then, Professor Mythos steps backward, not noticing a stray pencil on the floor. He slips and flails his arms wildly before landing on the floor with a thud.
