Part 16

The next day, Y/n woke up to the sound of her phone ringing.

Y/n: (groggily answering the call) "Good morning, Jungkookie. Why did you call so early?"

Jungkook: (voice cold) "Noona, don't you remember I was coming to pick you up today?"

Y/n: (sitting up with a sudden jerk) "WHAT?! Were you that serious?"

Jungkook: (still coldly) "Noona, I am dead serious."

Y/n: (panicking) "Wait... Are you here? At Jimin's house?"

Jungkook: "No, I am at the airport. The plane landed a few minutes ago, and now I will be waiting for you at the airport. Come soon." (He hangs up the call.)

(Y/n gently wakes Jimin, who is still asleep beside her.)

Y/n: (softly) "Jimin, wake up. Jungkook is here. He just called."

(Jimin's eyes flutter open, and he looks at Y/n with concern.)

Jimin: (teary-eyed, holding Y/n's hand with a shaky voice) "Y/n, I can't let you go... please understand."

Y/n: (hugging him tightly) "Let's go pick up Jungkook. Maybe we can convince him."

(Jimin nods reluctantly, and they both get ready. They have a quick breakfast, though the tension is palpable. Y/n tries to stay positive, but Jimin's worry is evident.)

At the airport:

(Y/n calls Jungkook to ask for directions.)

Y/n: "Jungkook, where exactly are you?"

Jungkook: "I'm at the arrivals terminal. Hurry up."

(They follow Jungkook's directions and soon spot him waiting, his expression stern. Y/n and Jimin approach him, hoping to change his mind.)

Jimin: (trying to sound calm) "Jungkook, let's talk about this. We can work things out."

Jungkook: (coldly) "Hyung, you broke my trust. She is the only one I have. I can't take the risk of losing her."

Jimin: (pleading) "Jungkook, I understand you're upset, but please, let's discuss this. I never meant to put Y/n in danger."

Jungkook: (angrily) "I'm sorry, hyung, but I can't trust you anymore." (He grabs Y/n's wrist and starts pulling her towards the departure gate.)

Y/n: (trying to resist) "Jungkook, wait! Please, let's talk this through."

Jimin: (desperately) "Jungkook, don't do this. Please."

(Jungkook remains resolute, his grip on Y/n firm. Despite their protests, he leads her towards the departure gate. Jimin stands there, feeling helpless and heartbroken as he watches them leave.)

At the departure gate:

(Jungkook and Y/n reach the gate, and Y/n looks back at Jimin, her eyes filled with tears.)

Y/n: (softly) "Jimin, I'm sorry."

Jimin: (standing there blankly, his heart aching) "I love you, Y/n."

(Y/n is pulled away by Jungkook, and Jimin is left standing alone, feeling the weight of his loss. The airport buzzes with activity around him, but he feels isolated in his grief.)

After a few hours, Y/n and Jungkook landed in Japan. Jungkook took Y/n to an apartment.

Y/n: (looking around curiously) "Do you live here? With Uncle?"

Jungkook: (shaking his head) "No, I bought this just for you."

(Y/n steps inside, taking in the new surroundings. As she explores, Jungkook comes up behind her and back hugs her. She stands still until she hears his sobs. Turning around, she gently cups his face.)

Y/n: (softly) "Hey, Kookie, look at me. What happened?"

Jungkook: (sobbing) "Noona, I am really sorry. I never wanted to be the reason for your incomplete love. I know you love Jimin hyung and so does he... but I can't leave you there. And now that you met his father, it's more dangerous. I'm really sorry, Noona."

(Y/n consoles him, leading him to the bedroom. Jungkook, exhausted and emotional, falls asleep in her lap. Once he's asleep, Y/n gently takes out her phone and texts Jimin.)

Y/n and Jimin's Text Conversation:

Y/n: "Jimin, we landed in Japan. Jungkook brought me to an apartment he bought for me."

Jimin: "Y/n, are you okay? Is he treating you well?"

Y/n: "Yes, he's just really upset. He thinks he's protecting me."

Jimin: "I understand. I wish I could have convinced him. I feel so helpless."

Y/n: "Jimin, it's not your fault. Jungkook is just scared for me. He doesn't want anything to happen to me."

Jimin: "I know, but it hurts to be apart from you. I miss you already."

Y/n: "I miss you too, Jimin. We'll find a way to be together again. I promise."

Jimin: "Please stay safe, Y/n. I love you so much."

Y/n: "I love you too, Jimin. Take care of yourself."

(Jimin sends a heart emoji, and Y/n smiles softly, feeling a bit more at ease. She puts her phone away and looks down at Jungkook, who is still sleeping peacefully in her lap. She gently strokes his hair, her heart aching for both him and Jimin. After a while, she feels tired and carefully slips herself beside Jungkook, soon drifting off to sleep.)
