***[Vincent's Pov]***
The never-ending white space was a frigid, hollow embrace.
It seemed as if the world had paused, as I was in a void moment and could not move.
A day or an hour? I could only wait and hope for something to happen.
No matter where I looked, I saw nothing,
there were no traces of life or any way out of there.
I was isolated, just a mind without a body.
I felt myself falling, my understanding of reality barely holding on to a horrifying void of nothingness.
Is this it? I was truly dead? I was just asleep in the hospital the last time I recalled the situation.
Vincent's voice echoed through the white void, the only sound that he could hear.
"Is this what hell looks like?"
***[Third Person POV]***
The words remained audible in the air, unanswered.
In case this is hell, then it was a far cry from the fiery depictions he had seen in movies.
The fiery pit of hell from the stories he'd read, the one that burned in his imagination was, he thought, but it turned out to be a freezing, unfathomable space that seemed to continue forever.
Vincent's voice descended into the silence again, now with a tinge of desperation in his words.
"Am i going to stuck here forever?"
The thought of being trapped in this nothingness for all eternity sent a him chill down his non-existent spine.
The solution was all that he needed, the way out.
The void persistently chose to be quiet, staying stubborn with no answer offered.
Vincent could feel the warmth, a stark contrast to the freezing void he was in.
Vincent was drawn to the light like a moth to a flame; his mind was alive with the possibilities.
Was it a way to go, a door out of hell?
Was it perhaps even a link to the gates of heaven? Or, was his mind just playing tricks on him, taunting him with the relief of false hope?
His interest aroused, Vincent turned around to face the light that he saw behind him.
The light shone as bright as the sun. And then, just as suddenly, it was gone, devoured by the darkness.
Vincent woke up slowly to find himself in a green forest, the trees towering above him. He instantly jumped up, stunned by what he saw.
"Did I really get a second chance? Where the hell am I?"
Then the truth dawned on him. He'd read about this countless times in mangas and comics.
"I can't believe it, did I just get Isekai'd in real life?!" He thought, stunned.
