Alex's POV

I looked around the house studying it. I like it. It's got that creepy factor to it.

"What do you think?" I hear my brother ask. "I like it." I say running my hand along the wall. "What does Emily think?" I ask slowly dragging my fingers along the furniture. "She thinks it's creepy but still likes it." He says. "What do you think?" I ask, sitting down on the leather chair. "Me as a psychologist, it's eerie. Me as a normal person, it could work." He says. "That's all you say Calum. 'It could work'." I sat putting air quotes. "Well, it could." He says. "Whatever." I say getting up.

I stand up and walk towards the entrance. Emily is talking to the retailer. "Well, I don't understan-" She says. "You over explain everything Emily." I say. I turn and face the retailer. "We'll take it." I say and walk outside. "Alex we didn't discuss this." "Calm down sis, it's only a house." Emily rolls her eyes.

"Whatever, I'm going to look around." She says leaving.

I find my room and put my bag down. Not too big, but not crammed like my old one. I turn my head and glance out the window. I see a tall curly haired boy with green eyes. I turn back around and lean over the window. He isn't there. Weird.

-Few days later-

"Can I see her?" I hear a male voice say from downstairs. Full of an Australian accent.

"Ashton, I told you no. You can't be around her. You know that." I hear my brother's voice say.

I walk downstairs to see what all the fuss is about. I pulled down my sleeves and fix my beanie.

"Alex, do you know him?" Calum asks turning to face towards me.

I look at the boy standing in the doorway. Curly hair, green eyes. "Um.. yes. We met at the mall this morning. Come on in." I say, signaling for the boy to come in.

"What's his name?" Calum asks before the tall boy steps foot in the house.

I think. What was his name. Who was Cal talking to? What was his name? Asher, Aaron, Ashton? Was it Ashton? Yeah. I think. "Ashton. His name is Ashton." Calum glares at me and then the boy. Calum moves to the side and the boy walks through. "Let's go upstairs Alex." He says starting up the stairs. Cal glares at Ashton as we walk up the stairs. Cal grabs me by the arm. "I don't want him around you you understand?" Cal asks. "It's just a boy. Stop acting like my dad. Oh wait a minute. I don't have one." I say turning around. "You know dad loves you." Calum says. "Would a dad who sent me to an asylum? No." I say starting at the steps. "It's not his fault your crazy. I've tried to-" He says. "You've tried to a lot. What you've actually done, is what I want to hear. So call me crazy, call me insane. But I for one, don't give a flying rat's ass. We are done here." I walk upstairs. "Oh and by the way," I yell downstairs. "I'm not crazy, my reality is just different from yours."
