Johnny and Liam were walking down the street of West Elizabeth.
"What did you beat those guys up for Liam?" asked Johnny. "We are trying to start a new here."
"It not my fault they wanted to fight me," said Liam.
"I know it was different when we were in Bill's Gang, but we have to move on from being outlaws once this plan we have goes through," said Johnny.
"I do not know if I want to start a normal life. It felt like when I was an Outlaw my life had meaning," said Liam.
"Well, if you plan to stick with us after the job then you're going to have to live a normal life," said Johnny.
"I'm still deciding, I guess," said Liam.
"He is still a kid after all. I should not push too hard," thinks Johnny.
They keep walking till they get to an apartment complex where they all live. They enter and see a younger Logan. He was wearing a black dress shirt with tan pants with brown cowboy boots. He had short hair at the time.
"Oh, hey big bro you get Liam out," said Logan.
"Yeah, thanks for chipping in to get him out," said Johnny.
"Anytime," said Logan.
"I am going to bed," said Liam.
He goes to his room.
"He gives you trouble?" asked Logan.
"No, he never gives me trouble," said Johnny. "Anyway, did you calm Ann down?"
"Yeah, she nearly killed me when she found out," said Logan.
"You know Ann she been protective of Liam since he was a young when he joined Bill's Gang," said Johnny.
"Yeah, but he seems like he not adjusting well to normal life," said Logan.
"I know, Logan, but he is still a young buck. He will learn soon or later," said Johnny.
"We also got Elise's medical bills today," said Logan.
"Yeah, I have to pay them, or she cannot stay in the doctor's office," said Johnny.
"Hey, you know me, and Ann would pitch in to help her out," said Logan.
"I know, but I also don't want to burden you guys," said Johnny.
"Don't think like that, we are your family too," said Logan.
"Thanks," said Johnny. "Let's head over to the bar and see if Ann is there right now."
They leave and head a few blocks over to a bar where Johnny, Logan, and Ann hang out after work.
They enter the bar and see Ann sitting at a table with a glass of wine in a wine glass. She was wearing a fancy purple dress. Her hair was longer and ran down her back. She had no blindfold on, and her blue eyes were showing. She was reading a book. Logan looked a bit nervous since he was in love with Ann. Johnny goes behind him and whispers.
"Like we practice now," whispered Johnny.
"Right," said Logan.
He heads over to the table, and she notices him.
"Excuse me, is alright I sit here, Ann," said Logan, nervously.
"Of course, Logan," said Ann.
He looks back and sees Johnny give him a thumbs-up with his right hand.
"She already knows he likes her, she just waiting for him to get the confidence," thinks Johnny.
He heads over to the counter and sits down where the Pub Keeper is waiting.
"Hey, Mr. Hard, what would it be today," said The Pub Keeper.
"Just a draft beer would be fine today," said Johnny.
"I heard that some Pinkertons are in town, Johnny. Your crew should not stick around," said The Pub Keeper.
"Sorry, but we can't go, Elise still needs medical needs, and moving her now would in danger her health," said Johnny. "I have not been there her whole life, I am a terrible big brother, I have been an outlaw since I was a boy and now, I found her and found out she has been sick. The Doctor even told me she might not even make it to twenty."
"Sorry, to say anything. I just want you kids to be safe. You folks have helped us out of a couple of binds now," said The Pub Keeper.
"As long as we lay low and keep out of trouble, they will not bother us," said Johnny. "But Thanks for the info."
"I wish Johnny would take this info more into thought, because unknown to us this would be the last few days of Johnny's life," said Liam in the present.
