Indian pre-wedding customs such as Haldi functions are entertaining and have great cultural significance. We apply Haldi on the bride and groom's face, neck, hands, and feet, and they do the same for their single friends and siblings. At the wedding Haldi ceremony day, we also like singing old songs, dancing, and eating excellent cuisine on the wedding Haldi ceremony day. The Haldi paste is made of turmeric, oil, and milk. In some customs, sandalwood, rose water, and gram flour are mixed in the paste. It is believed that haldi rasam is done to prevent evil spirits from harming the to-be-wed couple. In Indian customs, turmeric's bright yellow colour is highly auspicious. The couple, who are beginning their new life together, is blessed with prosperity thanks to the good fortune of this element and its colour. When cosmetic beauty treatments and salons were not common in the past, Indians relied on their natural beauty secrets to make sure a couple looked stunning on their wedding day. Haldi is well renowned for its ability to make skin fair and radiant. In addition to its ability to beautify, purify, and detoxify, haldi is also thought to lessen some of the anxiety that the bride and groom experience. Turmeric contains an antioxidant called curcumin, which has been shown to have mild antidepressant and headache-relieving properties.

The air was filled with anticipation and excitement as both families gathered to celebrate the Haldi ceremony, a cherished tradition that marks the beginning of the wedding festivities.

The venue was adorned in a delightful colour palette of light blue and soft pink, the hues reflecting the happiness that filled the air, tables were set with intricate floral arrangements. Vibrant marigold flowers and fragrant rose petals adorned the space, adding to the festive ambience. The sounds of laughter echoed as cousins chased each other around, and the elders chatted amiably, exchanging advice and anecdotes. The guests, dressed in their finest traditional attire, eagerly awaited the arrival of the bride and groom. As Ram and Sita were ushered into the venue, all eyes were on them. Ram and Sita stood at the centre of it all, surrounded by their family and friends, their hearts fluttering with excitement and a hint of nervousness. Ram stood proudly in his traditional white kurta pyjama his hair styled neatly. He stole glances at Sita, who looked radiant in a blue lehenga and floral jewellery and her smile lit up the space even more than the decorations.

"Ram Bhaiya! You look like you've just stepped out of a magazine!" teased Rishi aka Rishabh, Ram's younger cousin, as he approached with a mischievous grin. "Just remember, you're not getting a trophy today; you're getting a partner for life!"

Ram laughed, nudging Rishi playfully. "Thanks for the reminder, Rishi. I was just about to go for a victory lap!"

Shanvi, Sita's cousin stepped in, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Don't let the compliments get to your head, Jiju. Today is all about our Sita Di as well, I think your cousin remembers that?"
