Rihanna James was currently in the backyard with Sarah Cameron, her so called foster sister. Honestly she truly did enjoy Sarah's company, her friends on the other hand not so much.

Both girls were currently trying to hit some birds with tennis rackets to protect the mice after the hurricane had hit the night before.

Rihanna spotted a mouse that was about to be eaten by a bird and quickly ran over "no, no, no!" she squealed trying to whack the bird away when Sarah came over to help.

suddenly both girls heard their names being called by Ward, Sarah's dad and Rihanna's currant foster parent. "We're busy!" Sarah shouted to her Dad not bothering to look at him as she continued to try save the mice with Rihanna

"What are you two doing?" Ward shouted over to them confused on why they were currently attacking the birds with the rackets. "The burrows filled with water from the surge." Rihanna replied still trying to hit the birds away

"The birds are having a feild day!" Sarah shouted again before she ran to go help more mice. "The birds have to eat too girls" Ward replied to them as they still continued their antics

"No, it's a mouse genocide out here" Sarah yelled while Rihanna whacked another bird out of the way. "The cycle of life is what it is, Sweetheart. Now come on" Ward ordered Sarah calmly. "We can't be apart of it. First they came for the mice Daddy" Sarah called out to him, not willing to give up.

"Well i have an actual human being that you might help" Ward told the girls as they both walked over to him and Lana, Scooters wife. "Sorry, I'm Rihanna" she greeted herself as she shook Lana's hand before Sarah did the same.

"This is Lana grubs, Scooters wife" Ward explained to both girls as they look confused and concerned. "Now you were both storm prepping with him, right?" Ward asked for confirmation

"Yeah, he helped us latch the cabin on the druthers" Rihanna explained not knowing what the problem was. "Last night?" Ward looked between them both as Sarah breathed out a short "yeah"

"And did he go out after that?" Ward questioned them. "From here?" Sarah asked confused as ward responded yes. "No are you crazy? There was a hurricane" Sarah told her dad. "Well did he say where he was going?" Lana spoke up for the first time. "Get a phone call or mention anything?" She said quickly, clearly concerned.

"He didnt say anything to me" Sarah answered causing Rihanna to hum in agreement. "Me neither, I'm sorry. Is he okay?" Ward put an arm around Lana to try reassure her. "He's absolutely okay, He's hunkered down somewhere. We'll find him"

Both girls looked between Ward and Lana in concern before both apologising to Lana for not being able to help.

After another hour of trying to save the mice both girls retreated back into their home and went into Sarah's room to talk to eachother. "Do you think Scooter will be okay? It's abit strange no one can find him" Rihanna looked over at Sarah.

"I mean I hope so, poor Lana must be so stressed" Sarah looked over at the girl before something clearly popped into her head because her eyes lit up. "I totally forgot to ask you! are you coming to the boneyard tonight?" Sarah asked excitedly, her eyes gleaming with hope. "I've never been to a keggar before" Rihanna laughed

"No way! You've never been to a keggar?" Sarah sat up straight, clearly shocked. "Never, I'm from the mainland the best we got was a shitty house party" Rihanna laughed at the memories of the horrible house parties she went to. "That's it your coming tonight! I'll even lend you something to wear" Sarah smiled as she quickly got off her bed and hurried to her closet not leaving any room for Rihanna to protest.

Sarah held up a white dress and smiled waiting to hear feedback off her foster sister. "Absolutely not Sarah" She laughed. "If i'm gonna get wasted I don't exactly think it's a good idea for me to wear a dress incase i like accidentally flash everyone"

Sarah thought for a moment  before nodding in agreement "You got me there" She laughed, pulling out a cute white tank top and grabbing some shorts to go with it. "How about this?"

Rihanna looked at the outfit unsure, long story short she was a very insecure girl, if you seen her you'd think she was crazy for feeling insecure but her real family had always put her down calling her ugly, fat etc so she always tended to wear oversized hoodies, even in the warm weather.

Sarah noticed Rihanna doubting herself as she looked at the outfit placed infront of her. She put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You will look amazing I promise, you have nothing to worry about you are beautiful" Sarah smiled softly at her.

Rihanna looked up at Sarah with a small smile and finally gave in. "Fine" She sighed as Sarah squealed in excitement. She went into Sarah's ensuite bathroom to change before coming out again, looking at herself in the mirror, doubting herself

"You look amazing! I told you it would be perfect!" Sarah smiled at the girl infront of her before getting one in return "What are you wearing?" Rihanna asked her curiosly

Sarah smirked before grabbing a dress out of her closet that was a shade of light blue mixed with some purple flowers on it. "It's gorgeous S" Rihanna smiled at the blonde.

Both girls had grown close over the past couple months of living together, Sarah was the only Person Rihanna really talked to apart from Wheezie and the odd time Rafe if he wasn't in a bad mood. They would often call eachother by nicknames, Sarah's being 'S' and Rihanna's being Ri or Riri.

Once Sarah got changed both girls walked downstairs to see Rose drinking a glass of wine at the table talking to Ward. "Daddy, Me and Ri are going out, Topper is coming to pick us up" Sarah called out to her dad. "Where are you's headed?" Ward asked curiosly. "We are just going a drive" Rihanna smiled at him.

"Oh, okay. Have fun girls and dont be back too late please?" The girls looked at eachother smirking knowing that they probably wouldn't be back till late and that they definitely weren't just going a drive.

Once Topper pulled up Sarah got into the passenger seat and Rihanna sat in the back. The couple sat and chatted to eachother but Rihanna stayed silent throughout the drive. She wasn't really in the mood to talk to Topper. She thought he was stuck up but he was always nice to her so she decided to put up with him.

Once they arrived Rihanna looked around shocked, there was so many people and they were all having fun and drinking. "I cant believe i havent been to a keggar before, i need to start going because this is amazing!"

Sarah only laughed in responce as Topper stood there shocked. "You've never been to a keggar?" Rihanna shook her head no. "we don't throw them on the mainland."

Topper remained shocked at this as they walked further onto the beach and into the crowd.

Sarah and Topper had ran off somewhere leaving Rihanna by herself only five minutes after arriving. She sighed before deciding to walk over to the keg stand to get a drink.

When she walked over she spotted four people handing out drinks, a girl with tanner skin and curly hair, a boy with a dark skin tone and shortish hair, a more fair skinned boy with Brunette hair and finally another fair skinned boy with bright blue eyes and blonde hair.

Rihanna took a deep breath before continuing to walk over to the group.
