Y/n Sinclair walked into the bustling hall of Nevermore Academy, his wide eyes taking in the gothic architecture and the eclectic mix of students. He hadn’t expected his first day to be quite so overwhelming. As he turned the corner, he bumped into Yoko Tanaka, sending her stack of books tumbling.

Y/n: *Eyes wide, scrambling to help* "I’m so sorry! Let me help you with that."

Yoko: *Giving him a cold stare "Watch where you’re going, new kid* " *She snatched her books back, her tone icy*

Few weeks later.

Y/n quickly found his place at the academy, his golden retriever personality making him popular. However, every interaction with Yoko seemed to escalate their tension. One day, during a history of supernatural creatures class, Y/n made an insightful comment about vampires that seemed to hit a nerve.

Y/n: *Smiling, unaware* "Vampires have such a rich history, but they’ve always been misunderstood creatures."

Yoko: *Rolling her eyes* "Maybe you should stick to facts you understand, werewolf."

Their classmates exchanged glances, the air thick with their unspoken rivalry.

Late one night, Y/n was out in the courtyard, reading up on vampire lore. To his surprise, Yoko appeared, her usually composed demeanor replaced with a hint of curiosity.

Yoko: *Approaching cautiously* "Why do you care so much about vampires, anyway?"

Y/n: *Looking up in sincere* "I think there’s more to them than just the legends. They’re complex, like everyone else."

Yoko: *Softening slightly* "You’re not as clueless as you look, you know."

Y/n: *Blushing* "Thanks, I think."

As the semester progressed, their bickering masked an underlying affection that neither could admit. One evening, after a particularly heated argument, Y/n found Yoko sitting alone in the library, her usual confidence replaced with a rare vulnerability.

Y/n: *Tentatively* "Hey… can we talk?"

Yoko: *Looking up, guarded* "What now, Sinclair?"

Y/n: *Taking a deep breath* "I… I don’t hate you, Yoko. I actually… like you."

Yoko: *Eyes widening in shock* "You what?"

Y/n: *Blushing* "I know we argue a lot, but it’s because I care. And I think maybe you do too."

Yoko: *Softening, a small smile forming* "Maybe. But don’t think this means I’m going easy on you."

Y/n: *Grinning happily* "Wouldn’t have it any other way."

Y/n gots so excited that he accidentally tranformed into a werewolf and yoko couldn't help  herself but laugh at his adorable behavior.
