Chapter 7

A MONTH LATER

Miko sighed as he finished up packing up the last of his things in his trunk, he looked around his room and towards his now packed belongings. In about an hour Miko will be picked up by severus and from there he shall be taken to the train which will then take him to Hogwarts. 

He looked at himself in his large mirror, he had put on a traditional light blue kimono with white patterned flowers. His hair was tied into a low bun, held together by a blue kanzashi hair pin.

‘Miko are you ready?’ Giyuu called out, Miko turned to the older one and nodded. Giyuu hummed as he picked up his trunk.

The two then exited the room and down towards his living room where everyone was waiting. Giyuu placed his trunk down as miko sat on the couch.

’This is it…’ zenitsu hummed, miko sighed but nodded ‘yeah or atleast for the next year and till I graduate’ he responded.

No one said anything but all we’re thinking the same thing, without miko it’ll be different. ‘Well make sure to send as much letters as possible’ tengen said, miko smiled and nodded.

’Also miko here’ shinobu said as she passed him a bag. Miko looked at the bag in confusion ’what’s in here shinbou-Chan? It’s quite heavy’ he asked.

Shinobu smiled ‘inside is trinkets from all of of us in case you miss home also a few of your favorite snacks and drinks inside’ she answered. Miko gave her a huge smile, gently place teh bag down before he gave shinobu and huge hug ’thank you shinobu-Chan, thank you! I’ll try and send you some plants from teh magical world along with medical books!’ He said.

Shinobu smiled ‘I would like that, now we should get going your professor is already outside with the master’ she told him.

Miko’s eyes widened before he rushed to put on his sandals and run out of his estate. The others quickly followed behind, there miko saw Severus speaking with the master and his wife.

’I apologize for being late! Please forgive my tardiness’ he said as he bowed. The master and his wife chuckled while snape looked at him with an eyebrow raised ‘it is no matter mr.kamado, we have an 1 before the train leaves’ snape told him.

Miko smiled sheepishly ’ah of course, are we leaving now?’ he asked. Severus nodded ‘yes it is better to be early than arriving before 10 minutes he responded, miko nodded before he turned to his friends and family.

Each one he gave a huge hug, ‘you’ll do absolutely wonderful my burning emerald’ Rengoku said.

’Don’t let others diminish your fiery personality and spirt our flamboyant friend’ tengen told him as his wives gave him small packets of his favorite sweets.

’Always go beyond and make sure to be on top of your work but don’t forget to eat well and get a good amount of sleep’ shinobu reminded him gently as she patted his head.

’Respect others well miko-kun but also remember that only fight back if necessary and do not start anything…….unless they do then go full out’ giyuu said but whispered the last part to him, making him laugh softly but nod.
