Chapter Eleven: Brother Vs Brother

Tails gazed down at the crashed Egg Fleet. He could hear his brother's screams while his chaos energy was being extracted from his body, The kit felt his body tremble before a soft hand was placed on his shoulder "Don't worry Tails," Amy smiled softly, Tails nodded, slightly gripping the steering wheel to his plane "Alright I'm going to try to land!," Tails yelled as the three behind him nodded.

Tails jumped out of his plane holding his miles electric close to him, the kit gazed around the area, The earth had begun growing over the crashed Egg Fleet as it usually did. Nowadays multiple crash sites contained chaos-like animals who were using Eggman's fleets as homes, Dirt, and grass had begun covering the top as it looked a lot different from the time he finally found out what Eggman's plan was, The area looked peaceful but Tails knew anyone of Eggman's fleets wasn't quiet.

Tails turned his gaze toward his tablet "Sonic's energy signature is nearby," Tails turned to the right "We need to get in and remove that chaos energy," Amy said, as an albino bat quickly landed beside Shadow "We need to move now!," Rouge yelled, Shadow turned toward Rouge "What why?-," Amy said "Eggman got spybots flying around this area," Rouge quickly flew into the crash site as the three followed after the bat.

After a few minutes of pure slices down multiple dark hallways, the pink hedgehog groaned "It's so dark!," Amy crossed her arms tightly "Maybe this could help?," Tails tapped a button as a light appeared from the tablet "Much better," Knuckles said "I was enjoying the dark," Rouge crossed her arms "The ground must've started caving in around the Egg Fleet..," Amy muttered "That must be why it's so dark," Tails said, Knuckles stopped in place "The chaos energy is just around here..," Knuckles looked around the area, turning back toward the four "Follow me," Knuckles grinned running down the hall as they all followed.

"THOSE RODENTS ARE HERE?!," Eggman slammed his fist down onto the console of the Egg Carrier "And you decided to tell me now?!!," Eggman yelled at the yellow robot "Well you said for nobody to bother you!," Cubot said as Orbot slapped himself on the face "They've probably figured out what we're looking for sir...," Orbot said, as Eggman turned toward Eggman as a huge grin grew onto Eggman's face "No worries, Sonic can deal with them," Eggman placed his finger onto the screen "Maybe we can finally get rid of Sonic's supposedly brother, there can only be one high tech genius in Mobius," Eggman laughed "And that's you sir!," Cubot cheered

"This place gives me the creeps!," Rouge spoke "We'll get out of here once all the chaos energy is gone," Shadow said "We're almost there!," Tails whispered yelled, quickly running around the corner before pausing "Tails what's wrong?," Rouge flew toward the kit, turning her gaze toward where the kit was looking as Amy, Knuckles, and Shadow ran up toward them "You've finally made it rodents!," The group's eyes widened "You should have a proper welcoming to your destruction!," Eggman grinned "And you should also reunite with a certain hedgehog," Eggman lifted his arms toward a black figure who floated into view...

"Say hello to Sonic!,"

Sonic floated beside Eggman, His face lifeless while he looked drained "S-Sonic...," Tails muttered, taking a small but shaky breath before filling his body with determination "Release him Eggman," Tails yelled, Shadow moved toward Tails "I would love to give him back...But I've already begun ruling the world," Eggman laughed. Tails felt his fist tighten "Don't get too mad Miles," Tails eyes widened, and all the determination he had quickly disappeared. He hadn't heard that name since Sonic had said it the first time and that was when he decided he was going to change it, with the help of his big brother he came up with the name "Tails", The kit's body froze, his breaths becoming much more heavier as his body trembled. Two hands were soon placed on the kit's shoulders as he snapped out of his trance.
