THE DAY AFTER THE ACCIDENT IN THE CITY TOKE PLACE, JUNGKOOK AND THE REST OF THE FRIEND GROUP GATHERED IN THE CAMPUS LIBRARY TO TALK ABOUT IT. Jungkook was a bit nervous about it, considering they started to become aware of who Spiderman actually was. They seen him on social media, swinging around the city and stopping crime, and they most likely seen him in person too.
So, he hoped that he would be able to cover himself up well enough that no one in the group would grow suspicions, especially Amara.
At the moment, everyone was sitting in the library, cups of coffee in the hands from a coffee shop they went to before heading back to campus.
"I still can't believe he was able to stop that thing, I mean he was huge!", Hobi said as he gestured with his hands, everyone agreeing.
"I know, I give the guy props honestly, he was awfully brave to handle something like that", Jimin added on from where he sat on Taehyung's lap.
Jungkook smiled softly to himself, a bit of pride bubbling in his chest as he heard the praise that was thrown his way. Even though they didn't know it was him that stopped that big green lizard, it was nice to hear the compliments regardless.
"Well, I do have to agree he did get the job done, but he could do a little better about cleaning up his mess", Jin slightly complained. His sudden complaint made Jungkook pout a little, that sudden pride he once had sinking a bit.
"Hyung, now you're just being petty", Namjoon chuckled a bit. "You can't expect the guy to not make a mess while trying to fight off some giant lizard, it's simply not possible", He shrugged.
Jungkook nodded in agreement, his eyes going back to his oldest friend to prove a point. "I agree with Namjoonie hyung".
Jin scoffed. "Call it being petty, I'm just being realistic. If the guy is going to be a hero for this city, he could at least pick up after himself, or cause less damage. Because in the end, the city is left to pick up after what he's done, which isn't how that works", he pointed out as he loosely crossed his arms over his chest where he sat.
Jungkook felt himself become a bit hurt by his hyungs words, and Yoongi noticed it from where he sat. He frowned a bit himself, knowing he had to say something to defend the boy.
"Hyung, you have to think rationally about it. When a superhero shows up to a crime scene, keeping things tidy isn't the first thing that pops into their head. They want to get people to safety and stop the crime that's happening, it's their natural instinct", Yoongi explains. Everyone nodded, even Jin but slowly as he started to understand. They knew the guy had a way with his words, a way of persuading people.
"So, this Spiderman guy just simply followed his instincts. He stopped that...giant lizard thing and saved people from danger, just like he's supposed to do", Yoongi added as he glanced at Jungkook, a small smile forming on his face as he did so. Jungkook smiled softly in return, mouthing a small "thank you" his way. His older hyung simply nodded in return.
