when something disappointing happens to me i usually don't think about it too much but this time was different. i don't even know what happened. i just couldn't control my thoughts or my actions. it all started like a normal school field trip day. as i arrived to the school i immediately went to my friends. i noticed they were whispering about something so i asked
-"what are you guys talking about?" -"nothing important" came the disapointing answer from all the four of them at the same time. i tried to hide it but i was mad at them. 'why the fuck do they think i ask? to get an answer like this?' i thought while I was trying to force a smile on my face. -"is everybody here? we're we're leaving now!" our teacher shouted while she started counting us.
-"hey!" i whispered to Layla while we were heading out the door. "what were you talking about earlier? for real" i asked
-"ohh but we already told you girl! nothing important. you don't have to know about everything" she replied frustratedly then she turned to Lara. i tried to process the information but i just couldn't believe my ears. 'what did she just say? that i don't have to know about everything? we used to tell everything to each other!' i couldn't believe it. they ignored me the whole time as we got there.
first i was angry. then as the early afternoon turned into night my anger turned into pure sadness and i just sat on the edge of my bed with a disappointed smile on my face trying to hide that i got hurt. 'i gotta stay strong.' i whispered to myself. 'i gotta stay strong at least until we get home.' i took out my headphones and i started listening to music. but i couldn't concentrate. my head was just full of angry and disappointed thoughts. i started wondering where are they. 'i haven't seen them since dinner' i thought. 'they said they will be here in a minute but i guess trusting them was a mistake.' in the next moment the door opened and hit the wall with a loud slam. I raised my head in fright to the loud noise as my laughing friends walked in.
-"what's up Addis? we scared you?" said Melanie with a sneer on her face and they started laughing again. 'are they seriously laughing at me right now?' i thought at the point where i was totally fed up with them.
-"no. sorry to break it to you but aren't that scary. i just don't understand why u have to slam the door to the wall so hard. im honestly surprised u didn't break a hole into it" i said sarcastically but my friends didn't laugh. i didn't even care.
