Rosa,
When I first saw you,
Nothing seemed special about you
You were like every other flower in the rose garden
Alive but indolent in the dark starless night
Hueless and almost shapeless in the shadows
But then morning came
my perceptions changed
And I saw you
And I truly saw you Rosa
Your petals pink in the midst of the all red rose garden
Ethereal and beautiful
Your thorns cuts me deep from its distance
Your pure yet magnetic aura pulls at my white feathers
But then,
I suppose it is just my nature
For nectar would be nectar
And pollen would be pollen
And so winter will come
And none of this will survive her harsh climate
But I will
And I will Because I must
A very fervent saying
So bloom lovely rose
Winter is near
And soon you would be but a lovely memory
Musing a Love bird's song
