Visenya's POV

"I wish to leave." I tell Aegon as I sit with him in his room drinking tea, he motions to his door and I roll my eyes." Not the room Aegon, Kingslanding."

He tenses at that." Why? Are you abandoning me?" he asks and I sigh taking his hand.

"No, my sweet boy, no of course not." I tell him and he calms himself." Your mother won't let me write to my brother, the guards won't let me leave the castle, I haven't seen Rheagal for a while and he grows anxious. I wish to speak to my brother, if I could tell him what has happened, maybe I could stop a war from happening." I tell Aegon.

He looks down at his cup of wine.

"Aegon, do you want to be king?" I ask him.

He looks at me and sighs as tears fill his eyes." No, when I heard my father died, I hid. Aemond had to drag me back to the castle. But when mother told me Father named me Heir, I felt like it was my duty. It was the one thing my father ever wanted from me, but now, with what you told me..." He trails off and shakes his head." My mother and grandsire whisper in my ear, the take over in the small council meetings, I get no say in what gets done and what happens, I am clueless on what it takes to be king, I don't want it."

" Grant me permission to leave, allow me to fix your mother's mistake, please Aegon, before it's too late." I beg him.

"What if it's already too late?" He asks." Luke is dead."

"I have to try." I tell him." In my vision, I saw Dragons falling from the sky, they crashed into the earth laying dead. Some I recognized some I did not, among them I saw Meleys, Caraxes, Vhagar, I saw your dragon Sunfyre, and my sweet giant Rhaegal, I even saw Vermithor, and many others. Do you understand? If a war is fought the dragons will burn everything, there will be nothing left to rule." I tell him.

Aegon sighs and stands." I will personally escort you to the dragon pit." I sigh in relief." Come aunt let's have a bag packed."

" What is going on?" Alicent walks up to Aegon and I as guards carry my things.

My husband and Ser Criston stand with Alicent, blocking our exit.

"I gave my Aunt permission to leave, she will go to Dragonstone and try to clear the air." Aegon says." You may move out of our way." Aegon announces.

Alicent scoffs." I will not, your Aunt is pregnant she is in no condition to leave let alone ride atop of that beast." I frown at her words.

"Rhaegal would never harm me!" I snap at her and her eyes widen." He is not a beast, he is a dragon, my dragon, my son!" I snap at her once more.

"Wife, do not do this, do not leave me." Aemond says visibly upset and angry.

"I am the king and I order you to move, or be moved!" Aegon shouts and some of the guards behind us pull out their swords. Ser Criston grabs Alicent and pulls her out of the way and she looks at me sadly." Let's go, Aunt." Aegon pulls me along.

Aegon watches me as I carefully climb atop of Rhaegal, and then he waves me off. The flight to Dragonstone is quick as it's not too far from King landing, I fly into the dragon pit, which is a massive cave system under Dragonstone, the only dragon pit big enough to hold Rhaegal.

I carefully climb off of Rhaegal as the dragon keepers help me down and onto my feet they help with my bags too as I hear many footsteps, many guards enter the pit along with my brother Daemon.

"I was hoping that invitation was still open?" I ask and he opens his arms to me with a smile, I walk quickly over to him and wrap my arms around him.

"I'm sorry about Luke, where is Rhaeynra? I wish to give her my condolences." I tell my brother and he sighs.

She stays at Stormsend, morning Luke." He says and I sigh.

"I will go to her." I tell my brother and he shakes his head.

"It is dangerous." he tells me." Stay here where it is safe for you and the babe."

I scoff at him." Alicent and my Husband have kept me trapped in one castle and I found a way of escaping, don't try and trap me here Daemon." I warn my brother." I will go see her the only way you can stop me is by locking me inside a cell."

My brother sighs deeply and rolls his eyes." I forget how stubborn you are." he says and I smirk as I walk back to Rheagal and climb back up to my Sadle.

"I will see you later dear brother." I call out as Rheagal crawls out of the opening of the pit. I fly out to Stormsend, which isn't far but can be a dangerous flight as its name suggests it is known for its terrible storms.

Luckily it was clear out, I flew around until I spotted Syrax and I landed Rheagal near her. I climb down from my saddle and near Syrax. I hold my hand out to her as she turns her big head to look at me, she leans towards my hand and snifs it her warm breath puffing against my skin and Rheaynera rounds her to watch me. Syrax leans into my hand with a happy chitter and I stroke the female dragon with a smile. I walk around her to get to Rhaeynra who watches me with sad eyes, she looks a mess. I reach out and take Rhaeynra's hand and her face crumbles. I pull her into me and she clings to me as she sobs, I shush her and stroke her back.

"I am so sorry about Luke and the babe." I tell her.

She pulled away to look down at me tearily as she was a few inches taller." We were going to name her Visenya, after you." She speaks holding my arms in her hands." I am so sorry for how badly I have treated you in the past." Rhaeynra sobs out and I clutch onto her arms.

"Rhaeynra it is okay." I tell her softly but she shakes her head.

"No, it's not, you did nothing to earn my anger, I was a petty child but I am a child no more." She tells me and I know she holds a lot of guilt on her shoulders. I take her face in my hands and wipe her tears away.

"I forgive you, Rhaeynra. Your father would be proud of you, watching you stand up for your claim, your mother would be proud of you for the way you raised your children to be smart, kind, and strong. I am proud of you Rhaeynra." I tell her and she smiles down at me sadly before more tears slide down her cheeks.

"I am so, so sorry for your loss." I tell her my own tears breaking through and she looks down and nods.

I look out into the water and she joins me holding my hand tightly, I look at her from the side and notice she's looking for something.

"Have you..." I trail off and she looks over at me curiously. I clear my throat and grasp my belly with my free hand." What are you looking for out here? Are you trying to mourn in peace?" I ask her and she sighs.

"Im hoping I find something, anything, I need to know for sure that Luke is..." She trails off, and I nod.

"We will come out every morning then, the tide will surely bring something in." I tell her as I look out to the water and I feel her eyes on me.

"Thank you." She tells me and I nod.

"I will give you a little more time, but we need to leave soon, you are a queen, you have work to do and we have things to discuss." I tell her and she nods. I pull her closer to me and wrap my arm around her waist and she leans her head on my shoulder." A few more minutes." I tell her.
