Chapter 10

Im now in Detroit soon i'll go to see Kim. I'm a bit scared that im going to see Marshall around.
I really don't want to see him, i really just want to tell kim the truth and if he's there i couldn't do it. Because they might fight then and i don't want to be a part of that.

Before i came here i told Luisa to buy the girls some toys or something as a gift. The last time i seen Alaina and Hailie they were still babies. They grew up and im really happy to see them again.

As i arrived at Kims new house that marshall bought for her and the girls so she can have safe place for the girls when he's not around.
I knocked on the door.

I see the door slowly opening and Kim looks shocked at me.
"OH MY GOD!" She hugs me immediately "i missed you so much." She said
"I missed you too." I hugged her back
"HAILIE! ALAINA! Looks who's here!"

Of course Hailie might not recognize me but i know that Alaina will.
"Jeshie?" Alaina said as she stepped closer to me
"Hi babygirl. You grew up so beautiful." I hugged her

"Mommy who is this?" Hailie asks Kim
"You don't remember Jeshie baby?"
Hailie shook her head as a no and hides herself behind Kim
"I use to come around and play with you and Alaina but you were a little more younger thats why you don't remember me." I said to her and she looks at me
"You look beautiful." Hailie said and stepped closer to me
"Ohh.. thank you baby. But you know what?" I said to her and also got Alaina closer to me "you two are more beautiful then me. More beautiful then the disney princesses." I said and they jiggled

"What is this?" Alaina looked at the bags behind me
"Oh i almost forgot.. i.. bought you two something. Hopefully you going to like it." I said and gave them the bag
"You didn't had to girl." Kim said and smiled at me
"It's okay, you know i always do this."
"Thank you. Im really happy that you're here Jess. I fucking missed you so bad."

Kim and i were on the couch while the girls were playing on the ground.
"How are you?" I asked her
"I should ask you that? How are you?"
"Im good.. i had a lot of work to do."
"Yeah i could tell.."
"How are you and the girls?"
"We're good.. yeah im happy. But uh.. im pregnant."
"You what?" I covered my mouth

Is Marshall the father?

"Are you and Marshall back together?"
"What? No! Oh my goodness no."
"Oh.. im happy for you. You just taken me by surprise."
"I know.. im so exited to have a other baby."
"How are you feeling?"

What the hell! I can't tell her that marshall and i had sex.. she's pregnant. I will give her a heart attack with that.
Fuck im so fucked up.

"I feel good. I really want to eat a lot of McDonalds but i never got time to go."
"You want me to go pick up for you?"
"Oh my god.. that will be soo good. But not now."
"Alright you just let me know."

Later on Kim and i played with the girls outside a little. I then took the girls with me and went to McDonalds.
"What you girls want?"
"Can i get a happy meal?" Hailie asked
"Of course you can sweetheart. Alaina baby what do you want?"
"I don't want anything thank you."
"Come on baby, i know you love cheeseburgers."
"She got sick, and now she doesnt like McDonalds anymore." Hailie said

"Oh no.. im sorry for that baby. I can get you something else if you want."
"Taco Bell?" She asked
"Alright baby, i'll get you Taco Bell." I said as i kept driving

As we arrived at McDonald's i took the girls with me. Kim told me they really like to make they own order so i should let me do it alone.
"Hey alaina.. is that not uncle Proof car?" Hailie said as we almost got inside
"Jes uncle marshall might be here." Alaina said
"Oh really?"

Fuck.

"That's cool. But we should get our food girls mommy most be very hungry by now." I said and they agreed with me

As i was standing behind the girls while they were making the order i kept looking around.
I really do not want to see Marshall.
"What you looking at girl?" I hear a man voice and i see Proof standing there
"Oh hi.."
"What are you doing? You good?" He gave me a half hug
"Uncle Proof." Hailie and Alaina hugged him
"Hi girls. What ya getting here huh?" He asked
"We get some food for mommy and for us. Where is daddy uncle?" Haile asked

"Your dad is coming later to see you girls. He's been working but soon you'll see him." Proof said
"Yay." Hailie smiled

As we waited for our order Proof and i talked to each other as the girls were playing with the other kids.
"So you still don't want to talk to this old man?"
"Its not that i don't want to. I just can't lie anymore. Kim is my best friend and now she's pregnant and i can't tell her what happened between Marshall and i."
"So don't tell her. I don't get it why you make such a big deal out of it. She's not going to give a fuck im telling you."
"And why are you so sure about that?"

"Look Jess, i like you. You are a cool ass mf. But Marshall, that mother fucker won't stop thinking about you. He might not say shit but i know he does. And kim.. i know kim very good. She's a bitch sometimes but i know she's over Marshall. She won't say nothing. Matter of fact i won't be surprised if she'll tell you that it will be okay to be with him together." Proof said

"Ugh.." i dropped my head on the table
"You got this girl. Look Marshall wants to come later to see the girls. I could also come and make sure you and him can talk alone."
"Nah, i'll tell Kim and i'll take the risk if something happens to her. But im not going to talk to him. I wanted to stay here for about two weeks because kim wants me to but if he's around then i wont stay."

"Then stay for the girls. He won't bother you." Proof smiled
"You motherfucker." I pushed his head

"ORDER 893." The cashier said
"Hailie, Alaina! Come on lets go." I took the order and the girls took Proof by the hand and we walked outside

"Uncle proof, are you coming later too?" Alaina asked him
"Yeah. I'll be there. Now come on go home its getting darker. I'll see you soon." Proof hugged them
"Drive safe aight?" He smiled and hugged me
"You too." I said to him and he smiled back at me

"Alright girls, lets get the taco bell and go home. Your mom is going to kill me is shes going to wait 10 more minutes."
