"Hey, Mom? ... Dad?" Your parents pause what they were doing and look at you. You took that as a sign to continue, "have you seen Lydia and Ronald like at all? I'm starting to get worried about them..."

You say that because you know for a fact that the zombie twins' parents weren't held in the barracks anymore. They were moved. You don't know where. All you know is that they were moved between yesterday afternoon and this morning.

You've been checking on them everyday under the guise of visiting Isaiah. Fortunately, for you, the other guards didn't seem to mind it. They actually encouraged it, much to Isaiah's dismay. Truly, the guards teased him way too much.

Your mom shakes her head, and then adds, "I agree, honey."

"I don't know how long we can run their bakery while also still doing our jobs at the same time... Hopefully, Lillian finds them soon." Your father remarks, wiping his brow.

You deadpan, "you say that as if you were the ones running the bakery all week."

Your parents look ashamed and then they give each other a look, seemingly agreeing upon something.

That was how you ended up back at the pond. You had unintentionally guilt-tripped your parents into giving you the day off. You figured you ought to skip your daily visit to Isaiah to let Hadrian and Dylan know what was up.

The three of you sit together on the patch of grass beside the pond.

Hadrian is the first to speak up after you told them. "Dylan, go back inside."

"No."

"W-What?" The Husk hybrid does a double take.

"I'm not some sick little kid anymore." Dylan shakily exhales, garnering enough resolve to look his brother in the eye. "They're my parents too, you know."

Hadrian turns his head towards you, his eyes pleading for you to agree with him. You shrug in response, darting your eyes over to Dylan. "He has a point. You can't keep him in the dark forever, Hadrian."

The Husk hybrid sighs, seemingly too exhausted to fight back this time. "Do you have any idea where they could be?"

Nothing in particular comes to mind. "I mean, you guys know this place better than I do."

"They're not..." Dylan meekly starts, hanging his head. "You know..."

Hadrian's eyes widen upon realizing what Dylan was implying.

"...Is it too late?" The Drowned hybrid looked up at you tears in his eyes.

Hadrian's tough, calm exterior shattered. The twins overcame with fear and grief. Just like how you were when...

You stood up suddenly, staring down at the two.

"Then, let's find out." You offer your hands to help them up. "Shall we?"

The three of you emerge onto a main street with you leading the charge and the zombie brothers a little behind. Then, half a dozen people rush by you, leaving the three of you in the dust. You tripped backwards, but Hadrian caught you in time.

"Where's everyone going? Bingo?" You throw your hands up in exasperation.

"Bingo?" Dylan asked.

Hadrian gently lifts you back up to where you were. "It looks like they're going to the town square."

There's a faraway look in your eyes as you watch the crowd get further and further. If everyone's going towards the plaza, then that could only mean one thing: Lillian is calling for a town meeting. The fact that your parents didn't tell you sooner means that either they forgot or that this meeting wasn't planned.
