A Peaceful Night

Alfred stops at the grandfather clock, moving the needles of the clock to 10:48 and walking down to the dark cave when the clock opens. He is really glad he managed to convince everyone why Bruce was gone, of course he was there to observe the rest of the party since it was a fundraiser and he assured everyone that Master Bruce would want them to continue.

The British man sighs quietly with tiredness... mainly because of Mrs. Blanc; she surely is a talkative woman, and while he enjoys her enthusiasm any other day. He just needed to get back to Miss Barbara. Speaking of the young woman though, he made her cookies for the work she's doing. She's been sitting in place for quite a bit and she must be snackish?

The man turns his eyes to the back of Barbara's head and makes a face over her hunched position. Alfred knows the young woman tends to do that when she's really focused on something, but then she always wonders why her neck hurts badly and this is the reason why.

Barbara is so focused on Bruce and Kate's trackers making their way home that she admits her heart jumps a bit when a tray full of cookies appears in front of her. "Cookies, Miss Barbara?" Barbara smiles at the smell of the cookies, but frowns at the "Miss" coming from Alfred's mouth, "Please Alfred. I've told you just Barbara is fine! I sound like an old lady when you say that."

Alfred nods his head when Barbara takes two cookies from the tray. "Of course, Lady Gordon. How could I forget?" Barabara makes a face at Alfred, "Now you are just messing with me. I sound like I should be in a time when horse carriages were still a thing people rode in."

Alfred smirks at Barbara's words but his attention is quickly caught by only two trackers quickly moving, the white haired man's lips pulling into an uncontrollable frown. "Miss Gordon, there are only two trackers. Why?" Barbara looks up at Alfred and quickly explains herself, the Butler should never look worried!

"Please don't look like that! I was waiting for you to come down here so I could tell you what's up. Batman and Batwoman have found Richard and the others in the art exhibit, now, they were passed out at first but they started waking up when Bruce and Kate entered the room. Damian apparently hasn't even woken up yet... so I don't know if it's because his body is smaller and needs more time to recover, or if something is wrong? But I am trying not to think about that too much."

Alfred looks a little less perturbed at Barbara's explanation, but he is worried for the young master Damian. He does hope he wakes up soon and nothing severely troublesome is happening with the boy.

Barbara stands up when when she hears the sound of motorcycles and the Batmobile, both her and Alfred turning towards the entrance of the cave just to see two empty bikes make their way in first. Barbara quickly looks at Alfred worriedly and begins to turn her comm on, but she is a bit more relived when Jason, Richard and Stephanie ride in behind those bikes.

Oracle sighs in relief but gestures to the two empty bikes, "What's the deal with that? Where are Red Robin and Robin?" The three individuals hop off of their bikes, Stephanie replying to the redhead first, "Their with Bruce—" Stephanie pauses at Barbara's confused look—"I know. But it's because Bruce didn't want the younger ones to drive—" the girl once again pauses at Bruce's arrival and sprints over to Barbara so Bruce can't hear her next words—"It's because he got freaked out when Damian didn't wake up. So he somehow managed to wrangle Red Robin and BlackBat into the Batmobile with him."

Barbara lets out a hum and whispers back, "Did he convince himself they wouldn't be able to drive on their own?" Stephanie shrugs, "Probably... it's also probably because he convinced himself that because Damian is younger and Cass and Tim are the next youngest. He probably was afraid something might happen."

Oracle sighs at that and quietly wishes Bruce wasn't so paranoid about certain things, everyone else looks fine and she is positive the other two are too. But, she supposes it's not the worst way Bruce could act.
