NERVOUS 00𝟤: kegger turned crazy
"MISS FLORA, THERE is someone waiting at the door for you," her maid — Dorothea — told her. The girl nodded, thanking the woman as she stood of from her vanity, and walked down to the front door.
When she opened up the door, she saw a familiar curly haired girl standing there. "Kie? What are you doing here?" Flora asked her, confused.
Kie smiled, "Hey, Flo. I know it's been awhile, but I wanted to know if you wanted to go watch turtles with me. Just like old times," she said.
Flora also smiled, nodding her head. "Yes! I would love to! Just let me tell my mom real quick and then I'll come back out," she told her.
The girl nodded, waiting patiently out front as Flora went to talk to her mom, then quickly came back outside. "Let's go!" She exclaimed.
Kie smiled, walking with the girls before stopping. "I was wondering if my other friends could come too? If not that's totally okay!" She asked.
Flora stopped, then nodded her head. "Of course! I would love to meet them," she answered. Kie nodded, taking the girl's hand as she walked them to John B's van that was parked a few blocks down.
When they arrived to the van, Flora had felt anxious. She knew how the Pogues felt about the Kooks, and she didn't want them to think that she was like them. Rich, Stuck up, and other words to describe them.
Kie had noticed the girl's anxious state, grabbing her hand for comfort. "Hey, it's okay. They aren't rude, I promise," she told her. Flora gave her a grateful smile, but it didn't flush all the nerves away.
The girl opened up the door, revealing three boys sitting in the van, laughing about who knows what. "Finally, Kie! Thought you would've took all summer," the blond boy joked. Kie rolled her eyes at the boy, sticking her tounge out at him in return.
"Guys, this is my friend, Flora. Flora, these are my friends," Kie introduced them. The girl smiled at them, shyly waving at the group. As they all did the same action in return, Flora had noticed that one of them looked like someone she knew.
"Pope?" She asked.
The group glanced between the two, Pope's smile going bigger when he finally realized. "Flora! I should've known it was gonna be you," the boy laughed.
Flora also laughed, "I should've guessed you guys were friends too." Then she glanced back at the other two boys, "I'm sorry, but what are your guys' names?" She asked.
