The rain poured down in thick sheets, blurring the landscape into a drizzling haze as Y/n sat quietly beneath a shade. Raindrops splattered against the ground, creating a constant, rhythmic hum that was almost drowned out by the music flowing from his earphones. His gaze was distant, focused somewhere beyond the misty horizon, lost in his own world.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the storm, moving quickly towards the shelter. A girl, her clothes clinging to her frame, dashed into the shade beside him. She was soaked to the bone, the rain having spared her no mercy. Droplets trickled down her face and arms, her hair plastered messily against her cheeks. Y/n gave her a passing glance but didn't pull his attention away from his music, remaining detached and seemingly unaware of her presence.

Meanwhile, the girl focused on wringing the water out of her clothes, twisting the fabric at the hem of her shirt and squeezing out rivulets of rainwater that splattered onto the ground. She shivered slightly, caught in a chill that contrasted the warmth she'd felt running through the downpour. She bit her lip, brushing damp strands of hair from her face, casting a glance toward Y/n, almost as if waiting for him to acknowledge her presence.

Y/n's eyes remained fixed on the blurred horizon, the rain falling like a curtain between him and the world beyond. He was adrift in his own thoughts. The storm had dampened everything around, muffling sounds into a soothing lull that mixed with the faint melody in his earphones. It was as if he'd carved out a private world within the downpour, untouched and uninterrupted.

The girl, drenched and shivering, let out a small sigh, her breath misting in the cool, rainy air. She cast a fleeting glance at him, noticing the detached look in his eyes and the gentle rhythm of his head bobbing to the beat. Without a word, she slid down onto the empty spot beside him, feeling the weight of her wet clothes pressing into the bench as she settled in.

The shade offered her some refuge from the relentless downpour, though droplets still cascaded off the edges, pooling at her feet. She hugged her arms close to herself, attempting to chase away the chill that had crept into her bones. For a moment, she glanced over at Y/n again, noting the slight furrow of his brow, as though his mind was wandering somewhere far away. She wondered what he was thinking about-what it was that kept him so deeply absorbed, even with the world around them drenched and wild.

Silence stretched between them, yet it wasn't uncomfortable. It was a silence softened by the steady patter of the rain, by the occasional flicker of lightning illuminating the grey sky. The girl pulled her knees up to her chest, resting her chin on them, keeping her gaze at him, wondering if he'd ever turn and notice her.

Y/n finally turned, feeling an inexplicable pull to look at the girl who had settled beside him. As his gaze met hers, he was caught off guard by the intensity in her eyes. They were mesmerizing, drawing him in effortlessly. Her gaze was a blend of sharpness and softness, her dark lashes framing a pair of cat-like eyes that seemed to shimmer with a mysterious, almost unspoken allure. Almond-shaped and captivating, her eyes held a quiet strength, as though they held stories she wasn't ready to tell just yet.
